New Ranked Season - July 2022 & Card Back
The first day of the new month and a new Season, which is cause for some celebration as it is the 100th Ranked Season! And that's not the only reason for celebration, because Blizzard made the card packs we have been earning in June into Murder at Castle Nathria packs!
That expansion will launch very shortly after next Season begins, so we have 1 last Season to have fun with the Voyage to the Sunken City meta. As always, good luck and happy laddering this month!
Rewards
A new month also means we all received our ranked rewards from last month. You can let us know in the comments if there was anything particularly cool you got from the reward boxes or packs!
We'll leave you with the Driftwood Cardback reward for the July 2022 season. You will need 5 ranked ladder wins in July 2022 to get it. "Driftwood: Put in the work, and you'll get this drift!"

Posted Jul 1, 2022 (Castle Nathria Pre-Patch)I know, waiting sucks. However, stocking up on packs (and gold) early on will get you ahead when the expansion does finally launch. It's good they give packs out early. You say you play arena for the epics, yeah? I assume if you play the mode a lot, you should have some dust saved up. Use that for your epics.

Posted Jul 1, 2022 (Castle Nathria Pre-Patch)Eh. You got a pack for the future expansion, which means you save 100g by not having to buy that pack next expansion. So just spend that 100g you were saving on a Voyage pack instead and voila, problem solved. You have 1 pack for Voyage and 1 pack for Nathria, same as you would have had otherwise.

I convert gold to packs via Arena. My card collecting strategy is to play Arena until
I'm unconsciousI get all epics. Currently I lack 3 epics (for this season) so my 4 packs could have had quite an impact on the remaining arena runs count, since I dont' want duplicates.And now I'm confused because I have to wait if BLizzard decides to 'compensate' some old packs for those who awaited them. Or would they not... Very, very frustrating %)
