The Banana Brawl
This week's Tavern Brawl's theme is the Banana Brawl. To celebrate King Mukla's birthday, we get to create our own deck to play with the brawl-specific rule which gives you one random Banana each time one of your minions dies. Check out the Bananas below.
Remember to share your Banana Brawl decks using our deckbuilder, and to check out other Tavern Brawl decks.

Archon Team League - Match-ups Released
Another update on the Archon Team League Championships was released today which comes in the form of team match-ups. We also have learned that the mysterious team #8 is Trump's Value Town. We're keeping track of all the information in our Archon Team League Championships Preview thread. Make sure to check back as we're sure to hear more information in the coming days.
I actually tried a murlock deck for this brawl but got rekt by tempo mage :(
I made a hybrid Token/Mill druid for added lols, since milling is so easy in this mode.
(Dat feel when you make Mage burn Antonidas... Hehe.)
Can ya share da deck?
Ahh, yeah... I don't really feel like tossing up a listing that will only be useful for half a week. Also cause the essential elements to said Mill decks are obvious, there's no real point to going over what dozens of other decklists tell you. :(
I have no such qualms myself but that's because I want to see someone do it better.
I built a modified Mill Rouge specifically for this mode. The secret ingredient is Lorewalker Cho with some Loot Hoarders and Haunted Creepers thrown in. The Haunted Creepers and Loot Hoarders are almost exclusively for getting more bananas quickly. I'm thinking Loots + Bloodmage might be better for draw speed but I haven't gotten a Bloodmage yet. In the meantime, I've been experimenting with Gadgetzan Auctioneer with mild success. The risk of self mill is pretty high but not too bad since the opponent would need to waste their turn trying to abuse Cho when your deck is already built for milling. It helps though that very few cards are actually required to keep. Take that as you will.
Fill your opponent's hand with useless bananas (and only bananas) then mill as usual. Because you have sap + vanish, there's no reason to fear that one massive minion unless they OTK you with charge, and even that's a stretch.
This deck is slightly slow (hence why I risk the self mill with Auctioneer+Cho) but it is a lot easier to burn your opponent's deck thanks to useless bananas. My proudest moment was beating a Priest by filling their hand with nothing but bananas.
Expecting something cooler for Brawl Mode than this.
I like my mage deck better
Blizzard, why you do this to us! We already have enough of this cancer on ladder. Face Hunter, Tempo Mage, Zoo just even more stronger in Banana Mode! Where's fun? Well, this week sucks a lot more, than previous!
Don't worry. I'm sure whatever deck type you tend to use will gets its turn in the spotlight sometime soon. Maybe a bonus for clearing your opponent's board or using as many (or as few) of your cards as possible.
This was exactly what I feared Tavern Brawl would become, and sadly Blizzard delivered what I hoped they would not. They're not in touch with their players at all in this game. It's 100% obvious after this week, if it wasn't already so obvious beforehand.
Would've been better if we'd have fought against King Mukla or adding a Mukla card when one of your minions die
