Quote from BlizzardThe Shadowlands is normally where souls go after they die, so when someone dies in the Shadowlands, that’s a special kind of mystery. Sire Denathrius invited 10 of his counterparts and enemies to Castle Nathria for a dinner party so that he could address the malicious rumors that he is hoarding anima, the life-energy that is drained from tortured souls and used to power the Shadowlands. But just after the festivities started, Sire Denathrius was found dead! It seems a gaggle of enemies does not a good dinner party make. Now the illustrious Murloc Holmes, and his trusty sidekick Watfin, have been called to solve the case. Scour new Location cards, follow the trail of Infused minions, question the 10 Legendary suspects, and help determine who committed Murder at Castle Nathria!
Murder at Castle Nathria will launch worldwide on August 2 with 135 new collectible cards! You can find the full Murder at Castle Nathria reveal schedule, and all cards that have already been revealed, by visiting the card library here. Check back frequently—the list will be updated with new cards as they’re revealed!
Ten Suspicious Suspects
Sire Denathrius had a lot of enemies. And it just so happens that 10 of them were under his roof at the time of his demise! Each class will have a Legendary minion that is a prime suspect in Sire Denathrius’s murder. They all have the means and the motive, but it is up to you and Murloc Holmes to determine who is guilty.
New Keyword: Infuse
Anima, drawn from wayward souls, powers all the Shadowlands—and those who consume it! Cards with the Infuse keyword sit in your hand and absorb anima from your friendly minions as they die. After the specified number of friendly minions die while the Infuse card is in your hand, the Infuse card transforms into a more powerful version. Infuse your cards to unlock their full power!
New Card Type: Locations
Castle Nathria is like no place Hearthstone has ever been before. Explore the castle grounds through the all-new Location card type! Locations are played onto the battlefield for an initial cost, and then have an ability that can be activated for free on your turns, each time for a powerful effect. Each activation costs 1 Durability and has a 1-turn Cooldown. Every class gets their own Location card in Castle Nathria which represents where they claim their suspect was at the time of the murder, and synergizes with the themes of the class.

And so :
- Warrior - Olgra,
- Shaman - Vashj,
I am sure of these:
----------- Mage - Kel'Thuzad. -------- Warlock - Rafaam --------- Rouge - Draka ---------- Paladin - Pelagos.
Druid and Hunter are mystery to me (I know they represent Shadowlands races).
I assume you can see Ve'nari and Wrathion here too - but i'm not sure.
And the most puzzling thing for me - if these ten characters are to represent every class in the game - I have no idea who might be the DH counterpart - Denathrius would be good - but it's weird that Warrior got him as a hero portrait.
I’m NOT going to support Blizzard after Diablo Immoral!! This is a call to action, DO NOT preorder, DO NOT play, DO NOT support predatory practices!! WHO’S WITH ME?!
Ok - i have pre-ordered both packs, i play every day 4 hours and i support good games.
Hope this is, what you want.
Kiddy.
I preordered the 50$ bundle they loss 30$ TAKE THAT BLIZZARD !
What a pleasant individual you must be at parties.
Why are these people so angry that KillJack is wrong? These Giga Chads need to relax a bit. Who cares if he's wrong. Well obviously they do but why so angry at the person? These people are going to see this comment and my reply and get all butthurt while Killjack is walking away not giving a shit. So have fun being angry kiddos!
control in general is on a bad spot to be fair. Warrior Control dont represent all other control decks. Slow value decks are in general on a bad spot. The only reason why Paladin and Warrior can play those decks its because they literally take almost 0 damage for 5 turns in a row (or in case of paladin half the damage for the rest of the game) and the have access to very efficiente removal and solid gameplan: aka they have reaaallly good cards. Control Warrior nerf was...5 or 6 card something like that right? and its still a very solid tier 1 deck. Compare that with the rest of the slow decks and you will find pretty fast that most classes dont have the tools to stop aggre/burn/beatdown consistenly enough. The prince really just make it a little better, not that much. And it was a need if you ask me becaus it was imposible to play slow without very specific cards.
the warrior buff was insane, what? - I can now deal damage and gain armor at the same time? autoinclude!
Lets see what the new expansion brings to change things here or maybe more testing and the 40HP isnt all that great. Or is this just to bring Priest and Demonseed back..
the problem is still the discover mechanic :(
i am all in for priest so well this is great for me in a lot of cases. Its still to early to said it but Priest is probably the class that benefits the most of this because the Card quality of priest is too...ah...not on the spot. 30 cards its usually not enough to dealt with the high amount of card generators that the aggresive class run. Atleast in my experience (talking about control oriented priest, i never test naga or something more on the short-combo side)
thanks for your efford and kindness, but he totally ignored the fact that there are 40 cards and 40 hp on the other side, what this topic is all about.
dont get it, first they make the game fast with finishers and then they strengthen ctrl so much and extend the games..
Guys....dont try to play Cursed Lock with a 40 card deck. Your deck is a combo deck or a control punishing deck, you dont want 40 cards and missed your combos or playing immolate without a way to fill the hand of the oponent after it procs...
Seeing the new legendary I'd like to see 45 legendary deck vid from Kripp
its not that hard to understand that 10 more cards in your opponents deck is worse for a mill deck, and that you dont want to play 10 more cards in a 2 piece combo deck.
you dont even have the idea how things work man by saying things like that "Because then you don't have to end up with more than 30 cards, you've already got them from the start of the game"! jesus lord, you have to shuffle that specific card to play your deck, and you only want to play that one card over and over again. there is no point to put more random trash into your starting deck.
use your brain mate; why should u run +10 useless cards in your mill deck when you end up with 50 cards anyway
In my humble opinion, it would have been better to just make a 40hp game mode, or even set the standard for every mode to 40hp.
30 was fine when HS just released but power creep hasn't been kind to the overall pace of the game.
i am going to be dissapointed if this doesnt have a boardgame like murdermystery game minigame... like cluedo or something...
Nah, shitty puzzle mode again :D
Just me or is Renethal better for aggro / zoo than control like a lot of people are suggesting? They don't mind so much about less consistent draws in, say, zoo warlock, when they just draw a lot of cards and throw down whatever they've got anyway. And if your opponent doesn't also have Renethal it gives you a health advantage in an aggro matchup.
the point of zoo and aggro is to finish off your opponent in a minimum amount of turns... if you need a 40 card deck for it you are doing something wrong...
Renethal is awesome for long control, attrition decks... you will have more cards to disrupt gameplans then then them having gameplans... and with renethal you can easily push your opponent into fatigue without having to worry about receiving damage from fatigue... imagine, you can draw 10! more cards then your opponent and be in the same fatiguedamage as him...
Sure, the problem occures at the point that you will be less likely to draw a certain card... 1 in 30 is 3.3% where 1 in 40 is 2.5%... seems close doesnt it... lets calculate again with 15 cards drawn... then you are at 1 in 15 = 6.6% where 1 in 25 is 4%...
