I don't understand why this brawl couldn't be a deck builder. You could do many interesting things to exploit the random condition.
To me, random brawls like these are the best. I wish we could build a deck to try to make the best out of what is on the board, but I like it.
Still, Hearthstone's 6 game modes demand time from me, I wish I didn't feel like I was wasting my time when I am just trying to have fun, y'know?
When I first started playing, the Brawl was a game mode that allowed me to do crazy stuff and also gave me a valuable free pack. These days I'm less desperate for new packs and I have Duels if I want to throw together some over-powered nonsense. As such, the Brawl feels much less relevant to me, which probably affects my opinion of it.
That said, it feels like a long time since we had an original (or interesting) brawl. I guess with all of the new game modes, it's harder to dedicate resource to something that doesn't drive any revenue and doesn't get a lot of play time.
I think we need to temper our expectations a little and treat the brawl for what it is, rather than what we think it should be.
On that plus side, I just netted a cool 40 dust from my latest pack! Radical!
Another bullshit show…
Don't write it off because it's random. I've seen unskilled players do some really dumb things in this brawl.
It's because you have to remember the deathrattles that get assigned. You can hover to see the ones on your minions, but it hides the ones on your opponent's, so if you didn't keep track of what got assigned unexpected things can happen when you kill enemy minions...
It is one of the better random brawls in my opinion..
another brawl chosen by the randomizer, yay
I feel so very lucky I won on the first try. This one could take multiple attempts.
