Patch Notes and a new balance Patch are coming tomorrow! ✨
definately agree, decks solo relying on discover are viable. and thats not good. because it should be about deck building not adapting to situations.. Mecha Shark is way too crazy
My deck gets crushed by almost everything else, this is the perfect time for nerfs and revenge! ( or not :) )
What I don't like at the moment is that aggro decks never lack resources. I need nerfs to discovery stuff like Amalgam of the Deep. Making such minions more expensive (and increasing their stats) should be ok.
I also feel that some Demon Hunters cards are just too powerful. I can't really say which ones, the DH fel package is globally awful.
I wish Jace stopped targeting enemies only. DH already has lots of attack buff or enemy-only spells. Jace has no restriction in deck building, since you were already going to include all of these cards. I think it's stronger than Shudder or Zul'jin. Both introduced the restriction of avoiding anything that can target yourself.
Pally hater here....
I'd like to see Prismatic Jewel Kit lose 1 durability. 1 cost 3x +1/1 full hand buff feels too strong.
Prismatic Mooncatcher is also problematic and should go the route of other "copy of" cards (another sunken mooncatcher , NOT COPY) You would think Blizzard would learn by now, this is usually bad design (especially in classes with so much passive buff)
Pally main here...
I agree with everything you said. I wish they would focus on the Big Paladin / Control side and not these silly aggro decks.
Absolutely. That weapon is wayyy too swingy, draw it turn 1 and it's an easy win. Also I think BubbleBot is very powerful too, wouldn't mind that going to 5 mana or targeting adjacent mechs instead. I wouldn't mind seeing mage's weapon buffed to 1 mana too but that might fall into similar problems with it being really strong on turn 1
Please a control shadow priest buff.... Anything. its so close to being viable.
Please, don't kill Rogue...
Oddly enough, we've seen a whole different meta. I don't run into many Pirate Warriors and Mech Mages. Its usually Fel DH, Mech Paladin, Armor Warrior, and Quest Hunter. So kudos for somehow making those two decks less interesting.
Ban twig from duels already. It's ruining the format.
Such a severely unsupported mode to just let that be for so long :/
Unsupported? Duels is the most-balanced game mode in the game rn. And we get updates often. But yeah, Twig is serious problem
It's been 2 weeks since the release of the mini set , and demon hunter(fel demon) and warrior (control/charge)feel like there playing a different game... maybe a small nerf to bring them closer to the other classes would be nice.Having said that... i got no idee what cards to actually nerf, since the problem is not from 1 card but the decks as a whole
Warrior: currently has so many card draw options + the amount of armor generation cards just make it to strong.
Demon Hunter: With the adittion of Fossil Fanatic has a great way to not run out of fuel ,while playing Tons of Burst Cards+Having 4 Finisher Cards(out of which you will definetly have 1 in hand to win the game)
A possible change : Fossil Fanatic draw a card when you attack or draw a fel spell at the end of turn
My only suggestion is for duels.
There is a passive that grants you a fireball after you play a fire spell. I would changei it to instead grant you 2 Frost bolts. I think it's kinda bs that you only need 1 fire spell for infinite fireballs.
Battlegrounds update praige 🙏
Usualy in games it indeed feels better to have buffs across the board rather than nerfs, its what they do in diablo 3,but in this case, the game is to damn fast and agresive, buffing stuff will just end up making the game worse,hs needs nerfs not buffs, and yeah, you can say buff only the anti aggro stuff, but then thats not buffing everything
Targetted buffs for the bottom five classes is the only good solution in my opinion. The reality is that no amount of nerfs can meaningfully slow the game down, aggressive tools are too strong and control tools are too weak. What actually happens if you start nerfing the aggro is that warrior will dominate everything, and they're already very good. The reason why warrior works on the other hand, is because they can go above 30 health total (through armor). But the general speed of the meta simply won't slow down, there's far too many ways to kill you from 30. Even if we nerf all of them and do indeed slow the game down, suddenly we find ourselves in a Quest Priest vs Control Warrior meta, because aggro has been neutered.
None of this is viable. The classes that are strong right now more or less need to be strong, but the classes that are weak need to become stronger. The strong decks right now are strong because their overall package is strong, not because any specific cards are strong.
I miss the fatigue days of hearthstone honestly
Now that you say that, I cant remember the last match I played that went into fatigue. But hardly play contol decks lately aswell...
I wonder if it isn't time for buffs rather than nerfs. All the top decks are in a great place right now balance-wise. There's like 4+ decks at the very top, none of them going above 60% win rate across the board. The bottom half of the classes could use a lift though. The top is pretty well-balanced, but the bottom is too far down.
