Masters Tour: Summer Championship - Results and Decklists!
Masters Tour: Summer Championship was the first Masters Tour event to determine who will be going to the World Championship which is due to start later this year. With this being one of only two tournaments to determine these World Championship spots, it is an important stepping stone!
The closely fought results from the Group Stages on Friday and Saturday lead to the Top 16 single elimination rounds on Sunday. Find all the video links as well as the results from Sunday and the Decklists from the Top 4 in our recap below!

its been another 3days, and I haven't got the packs yet
Sure thing! But when a card EVERY SINGLE reviewer called out as "hilarious, super-fun but ultimately super-memey" makes its way into tournaments (!!!) something has clearly gone wrong!
3 Control Warriors
3 Naga Mages
3 Thief Rogues
2 Naga Priests
2 Boar Priests
1 Ping Mage (basically an iteration of naga mage)
1 Naga DH
... and 1 unbelievably bold control paladin!!!
14/16 of decks > 4/10 of classes
Awesome Blizzard, as always. Thank you.
And a special thanks to the clever minds behind the design of Smite, Amulet of Undying and Spitelash Siren. Nice job!
Boar decks being competitively viable is horrible news for the game imo.
tournament play at this level is not ladder play.
The casting was a bit biased towards Gaby, IMO, perhaps Blizzard marketing department have picked their next "star"? Shame he misplayed horribly against Levik and then threw a tantrum. ROFL
You even watch that sh*t? wtf :P
Rarran says gaby is the next GOAT and it's like wtf he hasn't even won anything............HOW are u considered a GOAT WHEN YOU HAVEN"T WON ANYTHING??? PLEASE EXPLAIN!? i don't see what the fuss is about some tantrum boy getting emotional over a childrens card game
I haven't watch this tour, but anytime I hear poster child (pun intended) got knocked out and threw a tantrum I just shed tears of joy. Probably the worst professional player out there, lack of respect for the opponent, no sportsmanship, taunts, trying to act cool then throws a tantrum when he's out. Despicable player no matter if he's talented.
He won 2 master tours and reached semifinals at worlds. At least google before posting utter bullshit.
I mean... Levik was the one that commited stupid mistakes... That priest game dude, platinum level... Who throws everything in hand against a Rogue on turn 8? IMO Levik was blessed by luck. Not saying he's a bad player, he's also a beast. But between the two, Gaby played better, but sometimes it just isn't about playing good.
It was ultimately Gaby who threw that game through. He played the Silence the turn before summoning the weapon, and presumably forgot that Levik hadn't played the second Bless. You could see him realize immediately after playing the turn, realizing that he had left units on board with no way of answering them. His visible frustration was at himself after he realized he had left Levik an out, and Levik had the cards in hand to punish him for that.
Playing the silence that turn was a mistake. He should have tanked some damage and saved it for his final pop-off turn when he summoned the weapon. Most of Leviks board would have been cleaned up by the Pyro summon/silence combo, and Levik would have been stranded with a weak board, 1 mana, and no way of answering the face damage from the weapon.
