Details on our newest patch are coming May 19. Look forward to adjustments to both Battlegrounds and Standard, including nerfs and buffs!
We have some confusion about when the next Hearthstone patch is coming out. Sorry about that.

👉Patch is THIS THURSDAY. 👈
Thief Rogue nerfs could easily be reverted. Nothing that thief Rogue could do back then is close to what most classes can do right now.
Is the game still not dead yet?
Nice, an announcement of an announcement. At least, the patch is only 3 days away.
Mecha-Shark needs to change into a battlecry.
Dealt 2 pings instead of 3 - literally will solve a lot of the problems of Mech Mage being able to clear board without trading or dealing 10+ damage to the face at the same time they put minions on board and generate extra cards in hand.
I rarely see mech mage anymore now that DH is superior.
The nerfs to Nagas will not be nearly enough, as always. I'm 100% certain they don't playtest anything.
I'm curious what the buffs might be. Curse lock?
As for the nerfs... Multistrike, From the Depths, and something relating Quest Hunter?
The bags BG nerf will probably be hilarious, like the elemental or quillboar “nerfs” the first time around. We are going to see lava lurker to T3, stormscale siren to t4, critter wrangler to t6 and orgozoa to t5. Remember when Djinn was t5?
Orgozoa is incredibly powerful, and often times a better 6 drop pickup than Athissa if it's early enough. There's no way it can be balanced as a 5 drop.
I know, my point is that the nerfs will likely not be nuclear for the new tribe and to expect something tepid or even dumb. I don’t think orgozoa would be anything but t6, however, I wouldn’t be surprised if blizz tried it at t5 because they really don’t know power levels of battlegrounds cards.
As a software developer I get that you can't account for every single possible scenario. That being said, the Law of Unintended Consequences can almost always be spotted in the corner gleefully rubbing its hands together when they make balance adjustments that will likely be for multiple different cards belonging to a particular class/tribe.
Multi-strike 5 mana and "Give your Charge minions +1"
multi-strike you know is going to be 2 mana, no doubts about it
This Article was updated to reflect that had actually intended the tweet message to be "Patch is this Thursday" and not just that details were coming.
By BG, I assume they mean a much needed nerf to Nagas.
