๐Patch is THIS THURSDAY. ๐
It's today and there is still no patch notes. C'mon Blizz.
They are in the states, so give them some time to wake up :)
Not sure about the state of constructed but BGs right now naga's (on 6) or bust. I don't even remember it being this bad after quillboar and elementals, I do remember they took over the meta, but not this extent.
Not cool.
Any idea about the time of the announcement/rollout of the patch ?
Me, as a shaman main, i just hope for some shaman buffs. Shaman is kinda awful this expansion. I know that it was strong, before the rotation, but since then, nope, the only viable decks for shaman are either murloc or elemental shaman.
I'm a bit surprised no one is talking about Paladin. This class has BS card after BS card, it's comical at this point. Radar Detector Bubblebot Alliance Bannerman Lightforged Cariel ,etc. Bonkers amounts of cheese..
Cariel is easily countered by just 1 card, Radar is random and can you draw 0-1 card, which is worse than other "Draw" cards from other classes. Bannerman is a 3 mana drop, which means that if you're on tempo, played 1 mana card, 2 mana card and playing it on turn 3 it buffs only a few cards. As a late game option, it's not a very strong card, and IMO it was stronger in handbuff paladin. Overall, it's a healthy class with a few decently strong decks.
DH is broken, priest and rogue are weak, that's the state.
There is no mention of "state" or "meta" in my original post for a reason. You, and I guess everyone downvoting me missed my point completely. The cards I've mentioned offer an excessive amount power, that's a fact. It doesn't matter if Cariel as you say could, potentially get countered by one card, it's still fundamentally too powerful.
Ultimately, Idk what rank you're playing at but in my experience, the cards I've mentioned make the experience of playing HS worse. Why?
1. For the person playing Paladin, the experience is so tailored and dumb down that even when you win it's actually not satisfying. It just feels too cheesy. Very similar feeling to og Pirate Warrior Quest.
2. Players playing against are in for an experience that feels generally overwhelming after the opponent will play one cheesy card after the other, ultimately creating the feeling of a BS, dumb down deck.
Do we see what they buff / nerf util tomorrow or not this time?
You are very likely playing a different game lol
Buff priest colossal and whilrlpool. Priest needs something at 7 for its quest except mutanus and elekk mount.
Priest is getting a 7 mana legendary in the next mini set.
Can you share source?
He was probably referring to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1MliPgDOwQ&ab_channel=ZeddyHearthstone
Make it 2/2, deal 2 damage, and reduce cost to 2 mana. There ya go. nerf it but don't kill it.
That is actually , A buff. Reduce it cost mean it is even better with that portal spell that reduce cost of mech in hand by 1. Yes it deal 1 less dmg but has potential to be even bigger combo since can save up total of 2 mana if you have 2 of them)
My bets: Priest, DH and Hunter will get hit...maybe Druid. Either because they are too strong or just plainly unfun to play against.
oh yes hit priest , make sure the class with 40% winrate never see play
hit warlock while you are at it
There is almost no chance either Priest or Druid get hit. The only druid deck above 50% winrate right now is Beast Druid at 51% winrate, while the best Priest deck is even worse at 43% WR. As a whole both classes are considerably below 50% winrate. Why would you nerf those, if anything they could use a few buffs, especially Priest (as well as Rogue and Warlock, all of which see very little play).
My prediction is that Naga Demon Hunter and Quest Hunter get nerfed the most, followed by Paladin. If I had to guess, I would predict they add an extra step to Defend the Dwarven District ("Deal damage with 3 spells" instead of 2, that sort of thing), Two of Predation, Battleworn Vanguard, Dreadprison Glaive and Multi-Strike get small nerfs, and Prismatic Jewel Kit gets nerfed to 2 durability.
I have same opinion about priest being weak, but he could mean "hit = change, without clarification if he would nerf or buff", thus his statement is not clearly bad.
