Details on our newest patch are coming May 19. Look forward to adjustments to both Battlegrounds and Standard, including nerfs and buffs!
We have some confusion about when the next Hearthstone patch is coming out. Sorry about that.

๐Patch is THIS THURSDAY. ๐
Did you like... stop reading his comment partway through? I think "either because they are too strong or just plainly unfun to play against" clearly shows that he's talking about nerfs, not buffs, even if the choice of the word he used (hit) didn't already imply it.
Never played a game where I felt Drekthar was a strong card.
Drek'Thar is literally the highest winrate neutral card in game.
Actualy, you are missing, one important fact... He is used in lower winrate decks as well, making him seems worse than some DH cards, which are used in higher winrate deck, making it looks like they are stonger than him, but take a look on most played decks with him included... Drek'Thar is highest winrate card overall, not only from neutral.

Don't you think warrior need to get little bit nerfed too?
I don't get it. Not four weeks ago on Apr 22 they announced they were going to be releasing a balance patch the next week, and they detailed all the changes they were going to make.
Now they say they're going to give us a surprise patch with changes, but don't tell us what they are?
What is with the inconsistency? This isn't the first time they've done this either.
Maybe there are still some awaiting discussions and uncertainties on some changes (either technical or non-technical work) and hence, they are not ready to share everything. They are probably aware about the community eagerness for nerfs so that is why they let us know so we can relieve that it is coming this week, not next week.
So they're going to rush out another patch, AGAIN? Great. Can't wait for the next game breaking bug that inexplicably went live that shows up immediately.
Looking at the comments and the data, DH and Quest hunter are candidates for a nerf and the strongest card in both decks is the card they can’t nerf. Not even a month ago, they sold a single card for $25 in the store. Not a cosmetic upgrade, not a random card, but Drek’thar as a diamond card was the first named card sold for real world money. If they nerf Drek’thar, anyone who bought that card is entitled to a refund through Google store and Apple store TOS. I think the best thing they could do is nerf Drek’thar, give gold/cash refunds and never sell single named cards again, but I don’t think that’s what will happen.
Easy fix, just nerf every card he could possibly summon. Tadaa, no money refunds!
Make pufferfist 4 mana 4/4 lol
Hunter Quest and Dragonbane Shot really need nerfs.
Prismatic Jewel Kit is another one I personally despise.
Just Nerf the 0 hero power hunter machine gun and the supernatural ability that deathrattles minions have to be activated even after being silenced and we are good to go.
Are you saying shellfish priest needs a nerf but DH is ok?
Will add my tips as well.
Nerf:
Drek'Thar - That card is just to much unfair and often wins game on spot, i don't see way how it could not be nerfed.
Multi-Strike - Yeah, this card is just very strong, maybe little bit tone it down with mana cost up or dmg down. (Not sure which is better.)
Predation - Another very strong card, same as above... Mana discount nerf would be probably preferred over rework.
Seafloor Gateway - Problem with incoming nerf of DH is, that DH sole handedly holding mech mages from being top. So they should nerf something from mage as well. I think Seafloor mana cost to 4 could help tone down overall strong archetype without powercreeps.
Buff:
Thrive in the Shadows - Almost all priest decks momentarily focus on drawing spell, change down cost to current standards (1 mana) would be very helpful.
Handmaiden - I think, restricting it to help on heavy spell priest decks, somehow limits what kinds of deck priest can play, get down activation of draw to only 2 spells could maybe open new possibility of including more minions into priest decks.
Swashburglar - Another card, which could help every rogue deck by being toned to current standards with buffing +1/+1 or at least +1/0.
Revert nerfs:
Shadowcrafter Scabbs - Days of Rogue oppression are gone, there is no need to keep powerlevel of that card back.
Touch of the Nathrezim - Same goes for warlocks, with addition, that they really desperately need any additional heals.
Rework:
Illuminate - Momentarily most priest decks are about searching specific cards itself instead of discounting them, so add draw effect for additional mana cost would be big help to all priest decks.
Overall:
DH really need nerf, but it means, mech mage will need to receive one as well, otherwise nothing would change. Hunter and Warrior quest decks will probably prevail overall strong. Maybe even dodge nerfing if decks, which they counter gets buffed, or get some other alternative to play (warlock should have somehow viable murloc archetype after DH nerf at least).
Hoping for Drek'thar and hunter quest for nerfs, and for buffs... I dunno, there are easily dozens of cards in bad decks that deserve a bit of help.
Can't wait to see Defend the Dwarven District dodge another bullet!
Nerf the shit out of quest hunter and aggro DH so boring to only play vs that.
I am not sure Multi-strike will get touched up. If it does it is to bring down the overall power level and not because the card is a power outlier. It is very strong, sure, but some cards are allowed to be. Nerfing Drekthar, which is a given at this point, will do it but it might not be enough. Speaking of, they need to nerf it in a way that will also disincentivise Quest Hunters playing it. Not sure just reducing stats on it will do the trick, it will still be played and it will still be oppressive, it might need a deeper rework unless they reduce the stats to 2/2 or even less. Can't wait to see what they came up with.
