How It Works
Day 1: All 16 players are divided into two separate lobbies, with each lobby completing three matches on Day 1. Following each match, players will be awarded points based on finish, with 7 points going to 1st place, 6 for 2nd, decreasing to 0 for 8th place. At the end of the matches, the top four players from each lobby based on total points earned will advance to the Top 8.
Day 2: The Top 8 will compete in an ongoing Check format until a winner is crowned. Points will be earned each match the same as Day 1, but to win someone has to earn a minimum of 20 points and then secure a 1st place match victory. Only with both conditions met will a player be able to walk away from the second Battlegrounds: Lobby Legends with the championship and $10,000 in prizing.

Another tournament without the number one Battlegrounds streamer? I'm starting to feel like Kripp thinks Battlegrounds E-sports aren't the best idea lmao.
A regular streaming schedule for him is probably more lucrative than a tournament.
A tournament where everyone tries to go naga!
Im sure they planned this long before release. They rolled the dice and, as you like to think, lost in terms of how poorly balance went. "GG go next" is the mentality they take here. They cant just cancel the event because of a subjective balance issue upon release.
Have XQN already played? Have Rdu already played? Were they eliminated?
8am? Bedge
no drops? nah,,, i'll pass
No drops this time?
Battlegrounds doesn't use anything from card packs, so if we are to get drops from these streams it;s probably going to need to be something BG related.
I also suspect that Blizz might want to know what the "natural" viewerbase is for these tournaments before they start forcing people to tune in due to rewards.
Kind of a bad timing to host an actual competetive event in Battleground when balance is as off as it is currently...
The Naga patch is the same level of broken that quillboar were on their release. This level of highroll potential is generally not what you want if you want to host an actual esports even where only skill should be the deciding factor.
Absolutely agree. Will be boring to watch. Everyone will race for Nagas. Boards will be too similar
