Patch 23.0 Known Issues - Balance Changes Feedback Heard
A server side hotfix with changes rolled out tonight. Blizzard also mentioned hearing the feedback about Balance changes loud and clear. Read on below!
Additionally, the team has heard feedback on format balance, particularly loudly from the Wild community. There's a few moving pieces that go into that, so nothing to share yet, but the team is working on it.

Quote from Blizzard4/21 Update:
We’re currently in the process of rolling out a server-side hotfix with the following updates:
- Fixes the bug that prevented Lokholar the Ice Lord from being granted in new/returning player decks. Players who already claimed new/returning player decks that were supposed to include Lokholar, and have not already earned Lokholar, will have the card added to their collections in a future update.
- Fixes a bug that allowed Barbed Nets to trigger two ticks of the Hunter Questline under certain circumstances.
- Fixes a bug where Multi-Strike would prevent a player from attacking the enemy hero with Kurtrus, Demon-Render.
- Fixes a bug causing certain Duels players to get stuck when trying to enter the mode.
- Bans Golakka Glutton from Arena deckbuilding.
We will continue to track Patch 23.0 and update this post when we have new information to share.
Brann+azshara still bugs
barbed net sometimes cant target hero in mobile
There is some merit to what you're typing here. However, let me point out that the Switcheroo mess was foreseen by multiple players and streamers even before the card was released.
lol this deck is the most played up until diamond ranks and if you have the board and your opponent is a t 15 health on turn 5, that game is basically over. but aggro was always in the game and that's good.
i personally hate that they won't touch Guff or demon hunter. and that arena is the biggest sh*t show that it's ever been. if you don't roll Druid or Demon Hunter, you basically wasted an arena ticket.
btw i went 12-1 with 4 miracle growths and 2 scales. balanced.
Honestly I'm shocked they're leaving Mech Mage, Smite, and some Pirates alone. We seen quick patches before yet nothing now. Personally I believe in nerfs that make the game a little more manageable. Its no secret HS has been moving to faster, stronger, and crazy ways to win because they don't like long matches. I personally enjoy a good back and forth game. I'd rather have a good match for 15 minutes than win or lose one for 5.
They really should move half of the cards back to HoF. Why on earth did they readd brann and zola? Also Smite should join them.
so you ban Golakka Glutton from Arena and leave Wild as it is? I see your priorities Team 5
I really don’t understand why you’d ban a tech card from arena
because it's weak, you have to actually target beast to get 3-drop with normal stats
Wild is wild, keep ur mediocracy on standard games
And the brann + queen akshara crashing the game?
Pls remove kazakusan...pretty please
not sure they will remove it after they spent so much time in designing the extra Kazakusan cards..
maybe they can nerf it. from 10 cards to 6 cards.
Just match Druids against Druids only and we're Gucci. Eazy fix, you can have it for free.
no fix for bob tavern in dalaran heist or tombs of terror?
Are they working 4 hours per week ?
Highest winrate: An aggro deck that decides the outcome in the first 3-4 turns which everybody hates yet everybody plays. Exactly how it's been for nearly 20 expansions straight since Undertaker in Curse of Naxramas and exactly how it's always going to be.
What deck are you even talking about here? Pirate Warrior doesn't sound right as that can't even complete the quest in 5 turns. Aggro DH? That certainly doesn't crush "every other deck" it has some pretty bad matchups and definitely not in 5 turns. Switcheroo Priest can win in 5 turns but is a meme with a terrible win rate.
Picture is actually loading now, I see you mean Quest Warrior.
This deck definitely doesn't win in 5 turns and there are signs it isn't even very good at high levels of play. It will probably end up just like last expansion where it is easy to play and so bad players can win with it against other bad players but that's about it.
High levels of play is just a tiny percentage of all players, If I were Blizzard I'd focus on making the game fun for the bottom 99% first. If those players quit there's not much point in having high level play anyway.
Sooo sick of hearing this excuse that pirate warrior isn’t good in high legend and therefore shouldn’t be nerfed. Not only were the problematic cards left untouched but it continues to get more support to push it over the edge. Not one of the other quest archetypes from Stormwind is relevant to this degree at this point as virtually none of them received new cards to work with this expansion. Just kill off the deck already
