Quote from Blizzard“Well, look who it is!”
Some new faces have just shown up at the inn! Hearthstone®: Heroes of Warcraft is happy to welcome new Heroes as they pull up a chair at the game table!
These new Heroes put a fresh face on the classes you know and love, and bring along some unique surprises of their own.
Picture Perfect
These new Hearthstone Heroes will feature beautifully detailed animated Hero portraits, including all-new art never before seen in the Blizzard universe. The first new Hero we’re introducing is a famed Warrior—the mighty King of Ironforge himself, Magni Bronzebeard!
Aside from the vibrant new Hero portrait artwork, these new Heroes also come with unique Hero power animations. Magni’s version of the Warrior’s “Armor Up!” Hero Power is sure to reinforce the fact that his majesty is not to be trifled with!
New Heroes also come with unique emotes and voices that convey their individual personalities, a play area featuring a custom visual theme, and nifty “entering the game” animations so you can greet (or intimidate) your next opponent in style.
If that wasn’t enough, new Heroes also come with a unique card back that will impress even the mightiest of dwarven kings! The steadfast “Magni” card back is added to your collection immediately after purchasing the Magni Bronzebeard Hero, and can be used with any deck of your choice.
New Heroes will be available for purchase from the in-game Shop for $9.99 USD! Usurp the traitorous Garrosh Hellscream and bring down the hammers of dwarven justice with Magni Bronzebeard; the first new Warrior Hero for Hearthstone—coming soon!
New Heroes do not add new cards to your collection or change the classes’ activated Hero Power and are not considered new classes.
Thank you for your moneyz, it is nice , you cant have it back.
The fact they teased us and many, including myself, got hype for new hero power which could completely change the game, was a disappointment. I don't mind skin at all but the price is too high for a single hero and I think they make enough money with people buying packs/adventure... Still waiting about what they have to announce at E3 ( expansion ).
Yeah, it's not like they could get as much profit if they just made it avalaible through in-game currency too, not just through paying them 10$. I would've probably bought it if they made the price reasonable then. It's called greed.
too expensive! :(
I do like the idea but $10,- per hero is way too much if it was like $4,- per hero i prolly would buy it.
Why pay for new deck slot? STOP making everything with a cost. It should come free since it has been asked for ages, or at least a gold price (like 200-300 a slot)
It sets bad precedence. When you compare it to their other free game, HoTS and what $10 can get you there; new hero(s) and all of their skills/abilities/etc, an entirely new game play experience. This $10 is just a portrait and an animation. That is it. Next thing we know they are charging $12 for a new game board and so on.
https://youtu.be/3TeZunqHlt0?t=12m49s You look so very silly
With a dev team this small, there is most certainly overlap on creating a cosmetic update, and adding in game UI features. Unless he thinks that only artists with digital drawing pads are the ones making this new hero feature...
Great idea, really strange pricing decision. I invested money in this game because I really appreciate all the work the team is doing and I know it is not free to develop such a game. But to ask for so much real money simply doesn't add up when you compare it with adventures.
Honestly, the most I'd be willing to pay is all heroes at the current price for one hero. Or maybe 15 euros for all, if I'm in a great mood. Otherwise, no way. I just don't see the added value!
only for money and not gold ? go f**k yourself 'blizzard'.
It's $10. If you can't afford $10 then you shouldn't be spending lots of time playing game... you should be devoting those hours to improving your skillset and opportunities so you can afford $10.
Where did I say that I can't afford 10 bucks ? Oh wait, I didn't.
Instead of writing comments you should be devoting those hours to improve your skillset and opportunities so you can learn to read and interpret.
Before this announcement I only BMed huntards and mechmages... Now, those, who buy these, are going to get extra BM from me. Seriously, how stupid do you have to be to support such decisions?
Good idea, will do the same!
I've spent 10 dollars on food that wouldn't even be in my body within 24 hours. I think I can afford 10 bucks if they release a hero I really want...sorry you don't like to support a company that makes a game you can enjoy for free.
Make them half price and it'd probably make a bit more sense considering it's purely cosmetic - but a new portrait, sounds, animations and card back for $10? Eh, not that bad in all honesty. I'll be buying Warrior and Druid at least.
Looks intresting but not for this price...
not sure how anyone can be mad that it costs $$. the game is free to play. the power company doesn't let blizzard turn on their lights for free.
