Hell if this is turn 8 that you are playing Tavish then you can play the normal version on top as they do stack if I recall right. then turn 9 Krush to the best place
I like your optimism
Or even just captain smite or leeroy. Seems like a clean finisher.
We have Raj Naz'jan. For 2 mana. And you are thinking about suck slow cards? Turn 4. Raj Naz'jan + secret + 2 damages in the face. Turn 6, 6 mana in spells other 6 damages in the worst case. Raj Naz'jan can OTK with this secret. Do you have the quest? It is over lethal.
I am not talking about optimal deck or aggro deck. I am talking a fun control beast hunter in wild :D
Yeah why do we have to only care about aggro when we rather care about fun big dinosaurs!
Ask it to Blizzard.
I really thank the Old Gods for Imprisoned Antaen not being a Hunter card
I'm not sure but I think the antaen would be dormant for 2 or 3 turns. 1st from ressureting by secret and then either the 1 more uf secret is overridden or two maybe.
Cause when you summon the dormant minions they go dormant always. And I'm not sure what would stacking the dormant effect mean. If it counts as minion is summoned when it's awakened (that would mean he gets awakened from secret and go dormant again for two turns, I think
and if that means that the damage effect would trigger two times, but maybe it will be in mythbusters video 🤷♂️
The two dormant effects would overlap I think.
Weird they made a card for duels’ deathrattle hunter
I never thought Hunters would get a Secret that not only worked for control decks, but encouraged it.
Will Crossroads Gossiper work in dormant mode?
No
Jesus. I already hate hunters, lets give them this secret under his new leg, Just a little draw a lot of spells + raj + 2 new secrets = i am going to play something else
Yeah, maybe you should step away if a class in itself makes you feel so strongly.
Will not fit in this highly spell based Naga expansion. I see a highly spell based solitaire meta where board doesn't matter.
And where did you get that? I mean so far the new spells:
DH = 1 spell, that encourages attacking a minion
Druid = 4 spells. 2x minion summoning, 1x minion buff, 1x dredge
Hunter= this and a spell that encourages targeting a minion
Mage= 2 spells. 1x card draw, 1x board clear with a minion activation
Paladin= 3 spells. 1x minion card draw, 1x summoning, 1x minion buff
Priest= 3 spells. 1x board clear, 1x minion draw, 1x minion buff
Rogue=1 spell. Minion summoning
Shaman= 3 spells, 1x minion summoning, 1x minion buff (spell dmg), 1x small damage spell
WL= No spell so far
Warrior= 1 spell, make your deck a minion deck only
This exp seems to have a very high emphasis on the board, my dude.
But, aren't the Naga you play these spells to activate for Minions? So you have to actually play minions to get the payoff. That's already a HUGE step away from the UiS meta.
I think it was actually quite cleverly done. A lot of these effects we are seeing on these Naga would have beeen abilities in other expansions. They chose to stick them on bodies this time and automatically force some board interactions, while still getting cool effects.
We might have to see some more balance changes to Year of the Gryphon cards to really make things work, but this is a definite step towards more board controling fights where dealing with the opponents minions is important.
