This will replace the nerf to Rapid Fire and make Odd Questline a little more viable again since it adds two more 1 mana spells back into the deck. Still not as good as a 1 mana Rapid Fire, but better than playing a two mana Rapid Fire.
.
At this point they have to rotate the quests early like Genn and Baku. Otherwise im not even going to consider logging in for this expansion.
If you can target the same thing, busted. If you have to choose a different target, not busted.
Well it says enemy, not minion. Which means it can go face too if you hit a minion.
Funny how Hunter Questline is the only quest that keeps getting support by cheap spells in every single expansion... This must be their most favorite Questline with Warrior one coming second.
They can still support Face Hunter but they don't have to use cheap spells like this....
siiiiiiiiick
its Barbed Nuts.
lol
What the Fuck. Nuff said.
A cool design. To clear any confusion, this won't get both ticks of progress on Hunter's quest, since the Quest says "Deal damage with 2 spells", and this would be one spell dealing damage twice. Seems decent, Arcane Shot with upside is good. We've seen two Naga in Hunter that are both extremely worth playing, but one is a late game finisher and the other is probably too expensive and slow for Quest Hunter despite how powerful its effect is for the deck.
I'm very excited about that Legendary Naga, but more interested in Hunter going an interesting direction with its Colossal. Praying for a Hydra, Shark, or Octopus.
Don't know why so many down votes.
Anyway, it'd be nice if on one expansion Hunter could get something different than fAcE. I know it's part of it's "class identity", but it's a design flaw that 90% of the times the only viable decks with hunter are face decks. Almost all of the classes have some variety on the deck types, but it's boring that hunter is always face, face and face. Miss the midrangey vibes of hunter.
text says you can choose a second target if you played a naga while holding this
can the second target be the same target you chose before? if yes, congratulations, 1 mana deal 5 face damage with face naga in play, otherwise is 1 mana deal 3 face damage and two somewhere else with face naga, which is fine
It doesn't say choose a second "different" target, so I think you can pick the same twice. I think it works like the legendary that shoots 5 projectiles that deals 2 damge and you can pick the targets freely!
That’s what I’m thinking, but blizzard sometimes makes effects with bad wording, meaning that the part of choosing a second target can possibly be restricted to a different target, we’ll have to wait and see
It's gotta be a different target. 1 mana deal 4 would be nuts. I just can't believe they're adding another one mana deal damage spell to Quest Hunter personally.
C'mon. They JUST nerfed Rapid Fire in wild.
The only thing I hope is that they don't print a good Aggro (1) or (3) cost Naga.
This won't be as Rapid Fire, because it'll count as only one trigger of the quest. It's basically Arcane Shot that sometimes'll deal 2 more damage. My thinking is that they'll remove Arcane Shot from the core set in standard. In wild, this should replace Arcane Shot maybe or be used as an additional tool and damage.
Oh god, Baku Quest Hunter will love this in wild
we will need replacement to some stuff lost at rotation for quest hunter, rarely will you see the 2nd condition imo
