This weekend the Grandmasters 2022 Season 1 saw its second week, with all matches being played in the new Trio format this week! There will be one more week of regular season, in the Last Hero Standing format, before this truncated season ends with the Playoffs, which is another week of Conquest!
This week was played in the the new Trio format, which means the organizer has made 5 pools of 3 classes, of which the players need to each pick 1 pool (without knowing what pool the other competitors pick). They then need to craft decks for each of their 3 classes, in whatever form they want. Play is then done in the usual Conquest format against the other competitors with their choice of classes and decks and players will need to win with each of their 3 decks to get the Best of 5 series win.
