They did add a new class in 2020 along with a minion which changes according to the board. In 2021 they changed spells to have a school with specific synergies AND they brought cards that "evolves" (upgrades) even thou spell stones did too. They also made card names starting to matter (SI:7), sigils and replaced the entire classic set with a flexible core set.

They could add an actual graveyard. Maybe one that keeps generated minions to not kill big priest (although I wouldn't mind). Still, 2021 was arguably the year with most changes in the history of the game, only competing with year of the mammoth.

And HEY! Now you can replace your deck with Dungeon run treasures! :) 

I remember the history of Hearthstone.

Do you believe that they are doing a good job? I believe no, in my opinion, they are doing a terrible reprint job. Hearthstone is constantly loosing share on Twitch. There must be a reason, right?

I don't think "year of the gryphon" went well no. Barrens had a terrible meta at launch and UiS had way too much infinite effects. The devs have included OTK's too much in the power structure of HS, opposed to the initial years where OTK's were nerfed to bottom tier 2 whenever they got popular. It also seem like the power creeping has surpassed some of the initial boundaries regarding health, deck size and mana.

I don't think that the reprinted ideas are what ruined the experience but rather concepts that are fun for 3 games and then get stale. The classic power triangle and rng gave enough variation to make the game playable for ages. With that being said, I actually enjoyed FiAV a lot. All the decks that are not OTK's or questline based are rather fun to play against (ok weapon rogue can fuck off too). I also think that games get old, just like us. I don't know how many new players this game gets. Seems like it's just old timers returning every now and then... 

BTW: I also think that the new mage dragon is a dull ass waste of a legendary :)

Guess on the class legendaries ? Think 2 Neutrals, 1 Mage... 1 ??? Lock 

I mean offering up the whole set for gold in a bundle is a sweet idea.

Golden cards are not for normal people. They are for the super-whales only. If you are even thinking about the cost, you are not the target consumer.

That said, the dust value of these golden cards far exceeds what you would get for $70 worth of normal packs, so it's actually a very reasonable price for an absurdly self-indulgent product.

how is 70$ a bad deal for an all golden set? Also, you can buy it non golden for 15 dollars or 2000 gold which is pretty cheap.

Onyxian drake is clearly nuts (Blizz trying to support CW? Out of nowhere!), and Spawn is great. Deep breath at 5 for some damage, bad topdeck, also variable and not board-wide? I'm unconvinced. The shammy wipe feels bad - compare to Lightning Storm which is similar at 3 minions for two less. Obviously better with one single big minion, but I'm not seeing the value for that cost - also worth factoring in that 6 is often a big power turn for shammy ATM, so a 5 with overload is sketchy. Heck, Volcano is a much better control tool. Lightmaw is great on paper - but will you reliably have both shadow and holy in hand for proccing? Hoop-leaping card. Neutrals are meh. Rush fellows probably better than I give credit for, but still, meh on both.

Yes. The midrange dragon priest deck that runs this will absolutely have both.
