Top Duels Moments of the Holidays

Top Duels Moments of the Week

Welcome to an extra Special Top Duels Moments Post! We hope you've been enjoying the holidays, and what better way to celebrate than gathering around the Hearth. Today, we're sharing some amusing instances from Duels throughout the last couple weeks, many making use of the more recent cards and treasures.

10: Snake Charmer

Parrrley sometimes steals one of your weakest minions, but it could also snag a key combo piece. When the universe really feels like screwing you over, it can take one of the strongest Treasures in Duels.

9: The Frost Lost

Freeze Shaman love to stall until they get their bigger plays. It’s even more convenient for the one running Seek Guidance. Bru’kan was merely postponing his own demise. Freezing a giant Mutanus the Devourer 5 turns in a row means nothing if you get blasted in the face by a Purified Shard.

8: Who Played It Better?

It’s no secret that Armor Vendor is one of the most annoying turn 1 plays a Bomb Warrior has in Duels. Not having one in the starting hand is a big break for the opponent. Though, this doesn’t mean much if they snatch a copy with Spyglass anyway.

7: A Dime a Dozen

Party Portal gives your spells the added bonus of summoning a decently sized minion for what you paid. But how about instead we just throw that out the window and fill the board with 0-drops with a Bag of Coins just to have an annoying early game?

 6: Teron Gore Friend

Here, we see the results after a Teron Gorefiend traded itself off. Getting Rush with Rocket Backpacks and the value from Totem of the Dead, the opponents is left to deal with a fairly difficult board.

5: Ever-Cheating Elixir

The ever obnoxious turn 1 where a Warlock discards Silverware Golem and gets to summon it right away now becomes much more hostile. Right away, Ever-Changing Elixir gets to work by already evolving the golem into a 5-drop. Next turn, it’s already become that good ol’ 7 Mana Owl we all love to hate.

4: The Sword Scores More For Your Boar Board

Grommash's Armguards is one of the weaker passives since running a ton of weapons to capitalize on the discount isn’t very good. However, Blade of the Burning Sun is infinitely replayable. It’s far easier to weave it into your turns to gradually buff every minion in the deck. It also makes Death Speaker Blackthorn a big fat cheater just by summoning enough Attack to kill the opponent twice.

3: Return of the Combo Priest

With Divine Spirit and Inner Fire being exclusive to wild for so long, it’s easy to forget the burst potential Priests had with high Health minions. However, Bless brought back Priest’s ability to give their beefy minions a massive Attack boost. As far as achievements are concerned, it seemed to be an Honorable Kill.

2: Saidan the Sadist

(Prismatic Jewel Kit + Highlord Fordragon + Blessing of Authority) x 2 = One Heck of a Beatstick! It only takes two turns for Saidan the Scarlet to mow down this Warrior hiding behind a mountain of Armor.

1: Battlecry: Win the Run

Some choose Royal Greatsword, while others pick Humble Blessings. I prefer Favored Racer, who can just casually be coined out as a 40/20 Zilliax on turn 3. It’s admittedly not the most honorable victory. But when your run is 11/2, you take the win!

We hope you've enjoyed this display Holiday Havoc. Happy Feast of Winterveil to you all!
