Fractured in Alterac Valley Card List & Expansion Guide

Boy, there's a lot of cheap 'Summon this, Summon that' spells. I love it.
How can you claim that? The deathrattle says "If If this wasn't honorably killed, resummon Korrak". Korrak wasn't honorably killed, therefor he should resummon, according to the wording.
It's entirely possible that it won't work that way, Hearthstone isn't very consistent when it comes to stuff like this, but the wording implies it does work, so I don't know how you can just decide that it doesn't.
Well, it also says "Resummon" yet he wasn't summoned to begin with.
Who knows what their half-broken engine code will do.
Every time a minion lands on the board it's considered 'summoned'. Played from hand counts for both 'summoned' and 'played'.
Am I crazy, or is Windchill a stupidly powerful card?
Invocation of Frost: Oh, shit, here we go again...
So, how do you deal with a combo meta? do you print techs against combo decks? Nope, you print EVEN MOAR COMBO MUAHAHAHAHA!
I see at least another combo for rogue and a new one for warrior, just after one quick read. They rly dont want games lasting over turn 8 do they? Wont stop me from playing janky big spell mage lists though!
Do tell, what are these brilliant combo decks you see for Warrior and Rogue? Don't leave us hanging!
One rogue and one warr one are mentioned in other comments - seems to be Sketchy Information with Korrak, which may or may not work, but as Korrak hasn't died to a HK, it could (or it might not, since he's not died to a non-honourable kill). Not an OTK, but could be a stupid T1 presence.
The warr one being double to the front, galvangar, double faceless for 27, which is probably OTK, given chip damage/weapons. Probably very hard to pull off, given that you have no excess copies of these cards.
I'm not worried about either of these, if we're honest.
This set is fun as hell
Warrior - Control Warrior has very some nice tools, Shield Shatter should have been Odd-mana cost for Odd Warrior
Warlock - started to have spells that only deal enemy minions these days, Full-Blown Evil is huge against Aggro
Shaman - Freeze Shaman got supported with Draw, damage spells, and value generation - it should be at least a Tier-2/3 deck at this point, somewhere along with Midrange Elemental Shaman, only good if the meta is more focused on board presence
Rogue - more support for thief Rogue, which is okay.. (Rogue has enough support for OTK Garrote, Quest Rogue, Deathrattle Rogue, and even the new hero card)
Priest - nice support for Health/Attack gain mechanic along with more Healing spells... but useless if the meta doesn't care about board presence but only OTK combo stuffs...
Paladin - more support for Control/Handbuff/Spellbuff Paladin
Mage: Big Spell Mage should become at least a Tier-3 deck with RnG fun..
Hunter & Druid: both got supported for Beast decks, Hunter is slower though with Deathrattle Beasts and value-generation resources while Druid is the aggressive one as always
Lots of classes will play around with some kinds of Deathrattle decks..
And Token Demon Hunter takes the meta.
And then Quest Lock and Mage enter the room and laugh at all the new decks.
Quest Lock and especially Quest Mage aren't even good at this point.
They hard, hard counter some really slow control decks, but anything even remotely quick is going to crush them.
Nice. Korrak the Bloodrager will definitely replace my Al'ar in my DR DH. Nice.
R.I.P Birdie, that's a HUGE powercreep if I ever see one.
Killing for exactly 5 is rarely ever possible, I'am almost inclined to say whoever lays this down first pretty much wins the game on the spot. S Tier legendary that will likely get nerfed.
I'm curious if Korrak needs to be killed with something that has the HK keyword, or if simply doing exact damage from anything is enough?
I think the important thing to note is that HK is not dealing all of its health (exactly) in one hit, it's simply finishing it off with exact damage - so I think it's probably easier to kill this than you think.
it's still a 1 for 2 at the very minimum, it eats and absorbs so many resources, like spell needs to deal exact damage to it, and often you just don't even have the right spells on it to do exact damage. I'am willing to be proven wrong, but for now this is my Broken legendary card of the set.
I laughed.
I liked the one from the Rune of the Archmage of a few days ago:
"“It’s not a slot machine! It took YEARS of rigorous studying the intricacies of the universe to unravel the strands of reality. The arcane knowledge alone would enfeeble even the most brilliant of minds. Give it the credence it deserves. It’s a magic slot machine.”"
