Great in Duels. Gonna close a lot of games when 2 of these smack your face.
Oh, this is a cool card. Makes that bulwark spell make a lot more sense. Weird that it's a big minion that doesn't go in big warrior, though.
I think this is a great closer in control warrior. 9 damage for 6 mana is a lot of damage. It's like a fireball and a half with a body attached.
Frozen Buckler is now very good. Its not as if the 10 armor counter is subtracted by its "start of turn" effect

It's a 9/9 charge creature in the right deck, so it's most certainly not filler. Also, If Bloodsworn Mercenary ever rotates back into standard, this will be part of an absolutely brutal finisher.
Pretty cool if you discount him with Vandaar and then use faceless manipulator on him. Not the most original design but we need minions that kills instead of spells, so that we can get some taunt minions and board fights into the late game.
If you don't wanna run an entirely armor focused deck, you could always try running one Unidentified Shield and pray you get the Tower Shield +10 version of it.
Its just a replacement Grommash. No need to worry about it going into pirate warrior, except the slowest control varieties. It's not easy to get 15 armor without playing a control deck with warrior right now.

It's useful not to misread what this card does. At first glance, I figure "Gee, having 15 armor is going to be really hard to accomplish. Folks can just chip away and this will just be a dead 6/6 most of the time."
But it's not have 15 armor, it's "have gained 15 armor over the course of the game" and then, OK, this isn't so hard to trigger.
I guess I'm still kinda mixed, tho. A 6-mana 9/9 charge is pretty beefy, but 9 damage isn't enough to really finish a game in control vs control, and it might be slow in tempo matches, where you don't want to waste time gaining armor. Mr. Smite is going to be a lot stronger in a pirate deck (since he'll give charge to your other pirates, notably ones from the Juggernaut), and Grommash Hellscream might be better since he'd combo with enrage activators you might already be using.
This is ridiculous. It works with Pirate Warrior, and Pirate Warrior is already one of (if not the) top decks in the game.
How does this ever work in Pirate Warrior? Mr. Smite is better in every way and the game will end before you get close to the required armor

A 9/9 with charge for 6 mana? Yeah, it’s good no matter how you look at it. 15 armor is pretty easy, especially with heavy plate. This can see play in aggro decks as a finisher or control decks as a pay off, just a damn good card.
