New Warlock Epic Card Revealed - Sacrificial Summoner
PlayHearthstone just revealed a new Fractured in Alterac Valley card: Sacrificial Summoner
This card was supposed to get revealed by another site this morning but they probably decided not to.

So it seems that Injured Marauder is not a druid card after all.
Mayhaps gandling is better? Depends on the minion density I guess.
Umm... Burning Blade Acolyte
Anetheron?
Nerubian Egg
Death's Head Cultist
Maybe into Mr. Smite for more tempo?
It's obvious decent with egg, but more common use case will prob be with 1/1 imp or tour guide into 2-drop. Solid value there even with just Egg and Bloodbound imp on 2. Run this in wicked shipment/fiendish circle zoo.
It looks like Team 5 is pushing Zoo Lock yet again, which in my opinion is kinda disappointing, because I don't think we need another aggro / initiative oriented deck in the meta (especially boring one, like Zoo Lock). Something more control-ish would be appreciated.
tbh I've been playing control priest mirrors all day, and it just reminded me why I did not like the Barrens meta any more than I like United in Stormwind's.
This card looks promising!
imagin Nerubian Egg into Injured Blademaster into Injured Marauder= giga tempo
even Muakla loves this
Instead you get Nerubian Egg into Sacrificial Summoner....
It's deathrattle support, like the new legendary spell.
I don't think that's going to work out this expansion. Maybe later, but I don't see anything worth it right now.
I dunno.
For starters, it seems like a solid Arena card. Value trade a minion, kill it with this, profit. But constructed isn't like arena.
Too expensive for powerful mana cheating. With good cheap Deathrattles, there's potential for a lot of tempo from this. But is a cheap deathrattle zoo warlock something that can even exist in Hearthstone in 2021 going on 2022?
You need insane unicorn scenarios to compete in this game. Insane unicorn scenarios are happening left and right every few games even. Some are more consistent than others
I mean sort of?
Like Pirate Warrior isn't winning based on the low chance of pulling Mr. Smite or Mr. Smite plays, it's winning because all of it's minions are overstated, the deck itself is super high tempo and the juggernaut provides insane value. So even if you can keep up with the tempo, you can't just hold out and starve it of resources. But if you try to outvalue it before the Juggernaut comes online you just die to the tempo.
Highroll decks like Handbuff Paladin aren't nearly as good.
I mean Ritual of Doom is super underrated but just thinning your deck while buffing your minions is generally a good thing. You don't need some insane unicorn scenario for this to be great.
Looks like a fit somewhere for Zoo Deathrattle Warlock...
"Broken", "Amazing"
Am I missing something? When did "Destroy a friendly minion gain a positive effect" been that good in Warlock?
These are the "destroy friendly minions" cards currently in standard Grimoire of Sacrifice Ritual of Doom Disciplinarian Gandling
This card is nothing special. What are you hoping to cheat out from it? 6 mana? 7? 8? On average you will be getting 3-5 mana cost minions (if they are even still in your deck) most likely.
Edit: I am sure there will be 1 or 2 deathrattle natural cards but will their effect be good enough for this and the Warlock legendary spell to see play. I doubt it
Shamans: Evolves minions so they can improve themselves
Warlocks: Kills minions and replaces them entirely
Seems in character
