You clearly started playing HS very recently. BGH was an staple until it got nerfed from 3 to 5 mana and then recently it got slightly unnerfed by making him 4 mana. He doesn't see play cause the meta is too fast. But people actually play legendaries so this new guy could be relevant. Not saying it'll see BGH levels of play but it's also not a useless card.
People would just ajust. Any good player would if that's the case. You'd simply complete your quest on a turn that you can also play the 5-drop and then your tech cards stops being "the best tech card".
Man this shudve been legendary in opponents hand. Wudve been best TECH card against QUESTLINEs
This might just be a Tech card against Questlines rewards. If I'm correct they are counted as Legendaries and removing a 7/7 can be difficult sometimes. So it can be actually good to run 1 copy of this in your deck.
Rend Blackhand cries in a corner
"Destroy an enemy legendary in your opponents hand" missed opportunity
Not useful outside of niche scenarios where you want to discover it.
Big Game Hunter barely sees play so this play rate will be even less
Bottom line: Pack filler.
Edit: Hope the people downvoting me enjoy targeting nothing with it in 99% of their games lol
LOL this card is like 8000 times better than the current version of BGH.
I didn't even bring forth the argument of which card is "better"
Who cares what is the better card between them if they both don't see play?
You did invite the comparison by even mentioning BGH. it's kinda trollish to try to back out of that.
Guess "Destroy an opponent's Quest" was too much of a bold play, so they'll leave us with this.
Hm....
HHHMMMMMM...
An odd tech card, to be sure. The stats are almost playable for the cost. Not sure how effective this one is going to be. Hard to say, really.
To be good, this requires a decent amount of legendary 1\2 drops or control vs control matches
mutanus?
Needs to be in hand during your turn and you have to hit it.
This one is targeted removal for high priority legendary minions that are protected, think Emperor behind a taunt and Robes up.
Question is if we will see such decks and also lack the tools to deal with them.
Shadow word: pain/death is 2 mana, so that's a 1 mana 4/2 in a way.
This is really good.
powercreeped out of existence
A modern BGH, nice
Finally a counter to quest rewards Kappa
On a serious note, if the game gets to the point of big legendary stuff getting played, sure, might be good in classes that don't have single target removal for big dudes.
Wow. That's cheap. Its not bad. I'd say possibly playable. Not in todays games over by turn 7 standards though. Perhaps when some stuff rotates it will shine brighter.
