Hearthstone Mercenaries is now live! Log in now to see one of Hearthstone’s biggest updates ever, and play Hearthstone like you’ve never played it before! Mercenaries is Hearthstone’s newest game mode! Mercenaries combines permanent RPG progression, roguelike elements, and iconic Hearthstone characters into a new, free-to-play Hearthstone experience. Form a Party of your favorite characters and set out on a Bounty, adventure awaits! In Mercenaries, you form a Party of up to 6 Mercenaries instead of a deck of cards. You can then take that Party in to the Travel Point in order to hunt a Bounty, or to the Fighting Pit for single-fight combat. When fighting, up to 3 of Mercenaries are active while the rest wait on the Bench, ready to jump in when one of your active Mercs falls. In combat, lock-in your team’s moves and then watch as both teams automatically battle it out! With different Roles, Abilities, and Equipment for over 50 launch Mercenaries (and more to come), there are countless ways to personalize and empower your Party! You can learn more about Mercenaries combat in the Gameplay Blog, and more about the game’s progression systems in the Village/Gameplay Blog. Complete the Mercenaries tutorial and introductory missions and get eight free Mercenaries to start your journey. That’s more than enough to form your first Party and start chasing Bounties! You will also get login rewards and access to a Legendary Quest chain that will award a total of six free Mercenaries Packs! But that’s not all! Twitch Drops are back to celebrate the launch of Mercenaries! Watch 2 hours of any Hearthstone stream between 10 a.m. October 15 and 10 p.m. October 17 and you’ll earn a free Mercenaries Pack! Watch two more hours (four total) to earn another! Remember, every Mercenaries Pack comes with at least one new Mercenary until you’ve collected all Mercenaries from that rarity tier, so your collection will grow quickly with those first packs! Play through the Mercenaries introductory missions and start up a Bounty to earn a free Sarge mount for your World of Warcraft account! Ride around Azeroth on this cute critter to show your Hearthstone pride! Learn more. Finally, to celebrate the launch of Hearthstone Mercenaries, we have two great new bundles, available at launch! Frequently Asked Questions
what THEY used to be. When you quote, make sure you read the message.
Please don't disparage my early 2000s Hearthstone experience. I remember getting Pizza grease all over my Knife Juggler but still winning that round.
Is there a bug with not always getting a Mercenary from packs? Or did I understand it wrong and you are not supposed to always get one from packs?
very boring mode, nothing interesting, I prefer the Battlegrounds
I'm bored already :/ and i hate the constant zooming in and out
Already bored with this mode after 4 bosses.. i'm sorry lol
Is there a way to get rid of this 2 "free packs" without playing through the whole tutorial? I've not interest in this game mode, but notification (exclamation mark) about 2 packs is really, really annoying (I understand that probably noone knows this now, but if someone finds the answer and share it with me - I'll be grateful).
Completing it or waiting until it is phased out (and maybe replaced) like other extra quests a few months down the line
i did the tutorial to get rid of it. took like 10 minutes at absolute most.
I cannot even start the gamemode :D
The button is live but clicking it does nothing for me, multiple restarts, even region change, but nothing happens when i click it.
And yes, it should be live in my region for like an hour now.
same,it doesnt start the game,i wanna get bored quickly as well!
Anyone able to play on mobile yet?
Still no update (Android)
Don't want to play it but also can't play it.
Hearthstone is trying to be everything and mastering nothing, the exact opposite of what they used to be 20 years ago. There is so many things that could be done to improve the existing formats but nah, let's roll out another game mode.
How do the twitch drops work for this? I opened up some streams but it wasn't showing progress like it was on the reveal thing a while back.
Can I just sit in on anyone with the Hearthstone tag?
Ah.. well, seems strange not to start today, but okay... it says it right there.
Thanks for pointing it out.
Drops are active between 10 a.m. October 15 and 10 p.m. October 17...
have you noticed the recent leak of the sourcecode ,etc of twitch?dont go there...
