He is neither wielding Frostmourne or wearing the iconic crown.

He also has the human tag rather than an undead tag - which is weird cause deathknights are undead :/ 

The appearance does not change as you level him up, but you can acquire alternative portraits.

How many coins do you get from packs, from playing, and doing tasks?

aThe real questions here. I think packs give a fair bunch of them (rewards seem to vary like regular packs, but are strictly bound to the hero they're for (aka "you may have Rokara coins that can't spend on Antonidas"). An example of what I say is the image below:

So far in videos it has been said pve encounters tend to give a lot less coins than pvp, but so far can't judge on that really. Also, at this point not entirely sure about what tasks are, but seems likely it goes like daily quests.

In pvp it is implied it will have some sort of inner control that pits you preferently against opponents with similar budget as yours, although that will have to be checked out the day it is released.

We have no info how PvP will give the rewards and btw I would rather play vs PvE than unbalanced PvP. Remember: its a PvE mode in the first place.

im glad they included both pve and pvp so the different strokes can be had for different folks. i too will play a good ammount of pve and dabble time to time in pvp. the mode is gonna be nice for those interested in the playstyle. lots of people seem to have a negative outlook on the game, i cant say i share the same feelings. i was optomistic during the inital announcements and even though what we are getting isn't originally what i had imagined, i am still very happy to participate :)

packs give you 5 different rewards. 1 of the is always a mercenary and the other 4 ones are most likely coins in stacks of 35-45.

There are two ways of pvp rewards

Monthly - just like for constructed

Daily - you can open a chest for the first win per day, after than you need two additional wins for the next rewards, then 3 additional, then 4 additional and finally 5 additional wins. This counter then resets every day

@H1st0ry: There is plenty of information on PvP rewards. They talked about it in the reveal video. Alliestrasza and Slysssa did PvP during their early access. The information is out there if you actually care to look.
