A Brief Video Overview of The New Hearthstone Mercenaries Game Mode
Blizzard came out with a very nice overview of what exactly the basics of Mercenaries Game Mode game play and mechanics are and what they look like in practice. A nice primer for the launch, next week, on Tuesday the 12th of October.
Take a closer look at Mercenaries!

I'd reckon about twice your own.
Fanboy manchild mental age detected xD
And yet that's still twice your own? That's almost impressive!
No it's not. u know that rsrs go get a job kid
New content is new content, people getting their panties in a twist need to chill. If it sucks it sucks (like Duels did) then fine, it will be a distraction for a couple of days and you'll never touch it again. Whatever.
The point is you don't pre-order. I feel like those upset are those who are addicted to pre-orders, and don't like the idea of pre-ordering something when they have no real clue whether or not they will enjoy the mode. Well... Duh. You shouldn't be pre-ordering videogames anyway, period. Atleast with regular a hearthstone expansion, you can make the argument as a consumer, that you are educated about the product and have a real idea of the value it offers to you. With Mercenaries you have no idea, so just be patient and take back some power as a consumer.
If its fun, maybe buy a few packs, if it sucks, don't. No harm no foul.
I for one look forward to it. You can grind each hero, its PvE, you can meme and I like the style in general. Its funny to see all the "its so expensive!" when you play Hearthstone that is literally the same but more expensive and after 2 years you "lose" your cards to wild. Not to mention that you play vs meta slaves in competitive so the game on its own is also very repetitive. That btw are also just facts. Cant wait for next week and playing that mode!
This mode is a scam. I've told many times about this company scams in the past, now they are out of control. Cyberlaws are urgent nowadays, specially when scams like this see the light of the day. A game that already gives u option to buy it but without know any shit about the mode, gameplay, money transactions and so on...this is called a scam. it's like to buy a used car without know any issues it may have from the previous owner and the actual seller that most of time is a p* of shit and in one or 2 months ur card needs repair.
DON'T BUY IT! DON'T PLAY IT! OTHERWISE U'RE FINANCING SCAMS AND BAD PRACTICES.
CYBERLAWS NOW! SUCH PRACTICES LIKE THESE SHOULD BE REVIEWED ON JUSTICE WITH PRISIONS OR FEES TO BE GIVEN TO THE RESPECTIVE THIEVES.
Your point of view seems a little bit exaggerated, anyway, I agree that cyberlaws and refund policies are required and I also agree with you that Blizz didn't provide sufficient information about what is actually selling.
And yes, this is really ridiculous that Blizzard is not able to explain to his buyers in detail what it is selling.
Thanks for clarify my text. I'm kinda angry these days. Exaggerated or not, this is what it is. Facts.
this mode will die in a month ...
Ok now I get it that I didn't get it
Blizz, you should explain what is the use of the coins once a character is full. You are selling a 130€ pre-order and people still don't know in detail what they are pre-ordering. The issue in my opinion is big, if I want to pre-order, what is the use of the coins once a character is full of them? Am I wasting my money because there is no use of coins once the character is full or not?
I can't answer your question, but my guess is that you need waaaaay more coins to max out any char than it's possible to get in the pre order. You would need to spend thousands of dollars or hundreds of hours grinding to max out a character, but again I can't know this it's just my guess.
Ok. It remains relevant to know if there is a use of coins once a character is full or not. Even if you need way more coins to max out any character. Is it worting the pre-order or no? Is there a use of coins once a character is full or no?
It seems after a character is full level, you can still use coin to buy new skin for the same characters, but this information needs confirmation.
Ok. And after that? Once you also have all skins for the character?
This things are relevant. Blizzard is selling 130€ pre-order without explaining what it is selling. Practically coins are selling but we don't know how to use these coins in detail.
The question can also be: can you still get coins for a character that's already maxed out? If not, this is a non issue.
The answer to this question should be easily yes. Otherwise, if you buy packs and you have everything maxed out what will you find inside?
I think why most people get frustrated is the fact that the main game is currently in a pretty poor state in terms of general bugs and balance and it seems they spent a lot of company resources to release a mode that on the face of it and in the opinion of many looks pretty drab instead of addressing a lot of the issues in the main game and other current modes
