I want a Bobby Kotick portrait for 500 $. Those bundles are too cheap.
as a Warlock hero portrait. But instead of mana and health, he is consuming the sweat and tears of his employees.
Bobby = Father AND Mother of Greed, in fact he looks EXACTLY like a living incarnation of Togwaggle.
it's the same picture!
Here's some cosmetic items for anyone who wishes to purchase them.
GREEEEEEEEEED!!!!!
It says "Sorry, you're not eligible to purchase Hearthstone: Mega Golden Standard Bundle (Rank2).". Who are eligible then? I bought the first one already.
I don't see me spending any money to get the golden packs but it will also come down to how I feel about the meta after the nerfs. If I feel the game is still playable enough to continue playing at a relatively high rate, I can see me spending a little money for golden packs. If not, I will have to pass because the Demon Seed killed a lot of interest in the game for me constructed-wise.
I don't play Battlegrounds or Duels. I should go back to Arena but hasn't touched it in months.
If Standard and Wild is at least varied enough and not drastically OP like Warlock was in Wild, I can see me playing and buying. Otherwise, I will just switch to F2P until the game improves, if ever.
I would strongly encourage you to give BG's a proper try. It's awesome. I haven't played constructed in months. And this is coming from a guy who only ever played constructed and has had a total of 3 arena runs in the 7 years he's been playing HS. It's also the least monetized mode, for now. Skins are just cosmetic and the perks, while they improve the experience a lot, aren't 100% essential.
Yes, give BG's a try. Once I gave Battlegrounds a proper try, I found it really is a fun mode. It's a great way to play and uses a totally different strategy than regular 'ladder' play.
Plus your collection size doesn't matter, all players pick cards from the BG card pool after each round.
keep spending ...
I now have 5 jpeg bundles clogging up my shop, the Shadowlands bundle at £20.99, Battlegrounds Champions of Shadow £12.99, Battlegrounds Champions of Light £12.99, Battlegrounds Beauties & Cuties £16.99 and Battlegrounds Guardians of Azeroth £16.99, not to mention Mega Bob for £8.99. This is rediculous. Then there is mercenaries, a perfectly "reasonable" £115.97 for the lot. So great they give us the ability to unlock all these things in game with gold and/or progression, aswell as increasing our ability to farm gold...
I AM NOT MADE OF MONEY BLIZZARD
you don't have to buy the cosmetics :) they not hurtin' you
Oh, but you don't understand... it's clogging up his shop. I know for one - every time I log into HS I need to open and scroll through the shop first... every time I open it up.
So you can imagine the time I have to spend scrolling past all these bundles now... it's really hard on me.
I've stopped spending time with my family because of all the time I waste scrolling past these bundles.
Damn it, Blizzard!
I see a lot of hate for the new skins and the price scheme, however I totally understand it. The game has now a full blown free to play element in battlegrounds, where you don't need to buy card packs and you can enjoy full experience in a really enjoyable game mode.
There are people out there that actually wants to support the game but they don't want to buy card packs, because they won't use them. So these bundles are for those people, if the price seems too high then these are probably not for you.
I don't buy skins (except for in-game currencies) but I do drop some money on Blizz from time to time because I like their games.
tl,dr : you don't have to buy the skins
Jezus this game has entered the milking state hasn't it? They are pushing out more paid skins and other nonsense than actual updates lately.
Leads me to believe they are entering emergency state on the player numbers, because this is exactly what happened with wow too when it's sub numbers dwindled: they loaded the game with an obscene amount of paid cosmetics to offset the money flow, cause whales will apparently buy anything.
Game is in such a bad state, almost every game feels like rolling a dice, you win or you lose based on opponent's class, mulligans and first couple of draws. It is not worth to spend any money on this game.
Aren't card games supposed to be like that?
Plus you still don't know if there are special voice lines, intro and hero power animation.
its says they have own voice lines
