The one thing I don't get is why do we get a pack of last year cards? Would it really be that much of a financial loss, for this small indie company, to give one pack of cards from the latest expansion each week?
I must be bad at this one. I keep starting with high cost, low statted dudes, and my opponent keeps getting low cost, high statted minions.
My poor skill and bad plays are to blame!
Lmfao ridiculous brawl. Turn 2 Emperor Thaurassian then played 2 more
I would love to know how many times did this brawl was repeated. I feel I've seen this like 10+ times
According to some googling, it's only been 7 times we've had it before (inclusive, obviously). I did laugh at my brawl earlier today though, turn 2 coin into High Priest Thekal, turn 3 two discounts into Ragnaros, Lightlord.
Only 7 times!! lol Thanks for the accurate tip and congrats on that brawl!

You sir, are the only one that loves this mode. Though, it is one of the more bearable Tavern Brawls. Just wish they mixed it up a bit instead of the same thing, over and over again.
We will miss you GGG... was a fun time playing an interesting meta :( . Was hoping to get 1 more day out of it with Rogue, but the Jade Big Shaman was just too much fun xD
Been there, done that...
What did you guys expect from a mode that doesn't generate any profit for Activision?
Just get the pack and move on, no point in complaining tbh.
Cloneball? More like a clownball... another week, another repeat, aka "one and done" brawl
Get Patches -> Win
Don't get Patches -> ???
gosh if i hate this one
I guess it's pretty hard coming up with an original Tavern Brawl for once when you're too busy shredding court documents and evidence.

What? Thanks for the help....
Lol
In case you found the description not helpful: You get a deck made up of Legendary cards, 4 copies of each one. You get a card to reduce the cost of a card by 3 permenantly on your first turn and on 2 more times on later turns. This allows you to usually quite decently play some Legendary minions on curve.
It's balanced by being utterly unbalanced but don;t mistake the decks not being balanced for lack of tactics in the game though. There's several ways to go about winning and it depends on your starting hand and mulligan, just like in constructed.
1) Just do what you would normally do. Look at the cards you have in your mulligan, take into account the 3 mana cost reduction, and try to figure out an early game strategy with them. Maybe all your cards seem useless, but try to look at raw stats too, cause most of the time you will just try to get board control and whack your opponent with high stat minions.
2) Don;t be afraid to try and just zerg your opponent if you mulligan into 2 or more of the same low cost legendary. Sometimes 2 Auctioneer Beardo's on turn 1 can snowball when your opponent lacks an answer or is trying to high roll.
2) You can try to high roll if you end up with 2 of the same high cost, high impact legendaries (think Lich King or similar). In that case, keep both, try to survive the first few turns, and then use 2x the cost reduction spell (they stack effects) to slam a high cost legendary on the board early and do it again the next turn.
3) Maybe you get some combination cards in your hand that work well together ie Sylvanas Windrunner and N'zoth the Corruptor. Then try to make a game plan where you mulligan for as many Sylvanas' as you can get and try to play as many of them as you can, before potentially drawing into your N'zoth and resummoning them again.
4) Maybe you get a legendary that has removal attached. Then it might be a good idea to mulligan for more of them and try to slow play it a little and have your opponent commit and then get his stuff removed while you build a board.
And remember: If you get dealt a bad deck and lose, just move on to the next game and you'll have a godly one.
Thank you! THIS is the sort of information that should be in this article.
