Balance Changes Coming Tomorrow - 8 Changes In Total!
Blizzard just announced 8 balance changes that will go live tomorrow. Let's take a look at what's going to get changed.
One change that you should know about:
- Fixed a bug where completing all Book of Heroes installments would not display the proper achievement or give the proper award. All players who have already completed all 10 Book of Heroes will automatically receive the proper award of a Golden Standard pack.

The cards listed above will be eligible for a full dust refund for 2 weeks after the 21.0.3 patch goes live.
Dev Comments: After two weeks of monitoring the rapidly evolving United in Stormwind launch metagame, we’re making a few balance changes to slow down the speed of the game by a turn or two. Overall, this translates to two things: limiting the efficiency at which combo decks can assemble the pieces they need to win, and reducing the burst damage that board-based decks have access to from hand. We hope that these changes will give a bit more room for slower strategies to find success in this meta, and we’ll continue to keep an eye on the live game to see if any further changes are needed.

Arena Balance Update
We’ve updated the appearance rate of cards to ensure class balance remains close to the ideal 50% win-rate. Specifically, the win-rate of Druid, Warrior, and Demon Hunter should now be decreased. The win-rate of Mage, Priest, Rogue, and Shaman should now be increased. The win-rate of the other classes should be roughly the same as before.
Bug Fixes & Game Improvements
- Updated the Stealer of Souls animation to now only trigger if the card ends up in your hand (it does not trigger for cards that are Cast When Drawn, such as Soul Shards). The animation will also no longer trigger if the drawn card already costs Health instead of Mana (such as when you have two Stealer of Souls in play).
- Fixed card text errors for Psyfiend and Florist (no functional change to either).
- Fixed a bug where Prismatic Jewel Kit would trigger when effects returned a Divine Shield minion to the owner’s hand or moved a Divine Shield minion from the owner’s hand to the owner’s deck.
- Fixed a bug where Seek Guidance (the Priest questline) would sometimes count the original Cost of cards, instead of the Cost actually paid for the card.
- Fixed a bug where the Initiate Set version of Eye Beam did not properly display card art in the Collection Manager.
- Fixed a bug where Reborn Rites, The Lich King’s Battlegrounds hero power, caused players to disconnect from the game server.
- Added interactions between Pave the Way (part of the Paladin Questline) and Duels-specific hero powers.
- Fixed various bugs in Book of Heroes Gul’dan and Book of Heroes Illidan.
- Fixed a bug where Duels achievements were not tracking properly.
- Fixed a bug where Witchwood collection achievements triggered even though the requirements were not yet met.

everyone has own perspective of dead game, it is dead because of "tryhard people" playing for no sence ranks with no rewards :D games was about fun and i guarantee you not many % people have fun if you need to play that broken meta deck if you want higher rank
if you see 70% people play tier 1 decks on CASUAL also... where i play mostly now because other ones are unplayable..
tell me where this game is...
life changing nerfs on almost dead game, lets print broken cards make money nerf some so its not that obvious and next expansion all over again, yikes

Great, now my Evenlock is nerfed. Why not make Flesh Giant 10, or even 12 mana? Going from 8 to 9 will change NOTHING, Warlocks can change their health too easily, we're seeing this with Questline Warlock.
Fungalmancer Flurgl will probly be 1 of the best hero now after the buff... befor you could go -10 and see 0 murloc with this chage you can just buy 1 buffer and then start to get murlocs very big buff
there nerfed Darkglare and that will nerf stealer of souls it will not be dead card but it will be alot less powerful after

the fleshgiant nerf is not pointless... it might do so you cant play it on that turn and have to wait 1 extra turn befor you can get 2x out... 1 turn later is hugh nerf... sure it might not do it each time but that time it happen that might be the reason why the deck lose and not win
allso dark glare was very big problem and this will kill the card so its very big nerf to the quest sure if you not run it its not a big deal but for deck that used it will be so much slower

Not sure if I'm the only one still playing but no Duels balance? Meek Mastery should have been hot nerfed already.
if i disenchant everything (including my golden il'gynoth, golden incanters flow, and golden battlemaster) i get a total of 8200 dust... and i hope this kills quest warlock!
I will not change much. Fleshgiant nerf is pointless. One more or less does not matter. Dark glare will also not be to impact full. Some decks dont even played it.
You used to be eliminated on turn 6 by a solitaire player.
Now you'll be eliminated on turn 7 by a solitaire player.

dh is nerfed big time its probly take them 3-4 more turns befor there can do combo now
mage is nerfed so it will take 2 more turns so befor it was like turn 7-9 after here it will be 9-11
warlock is allso 2-3 more turns befor there will be done with quest now so befor there could be done 7-9 now there will be done 9-12
hunter will not be slower but will be alittle weaker
paladin was winning on turn 5-9 after the nerf it will take 0-5 extra turns to be done so now it will be 5-14 so sure it will make them slower but some time you did not even need this card to win
shaman nerf did noting... but shaman was not a big problem anyways
well, it isnt what ive been looking for. it may be just enough but i personally dont belive that.
anyway, with these nerfs it will be almost 20k dust for me as i just counted. so im not that sad anymore
