United in Stormwind Decks - High Legend Standard Edition
The expansion has only just been released but there's already some spicy decks out there. We rounded up a bunch of them that were successfully played at high legend and present them here. Enjoy!
Warlock
The most talked about class (and questline) is certainly Warlock. Meati played his deck up to Rank 7 on High Legend ladder and up and coming Grandmaster Gaby played his version at Rank 1. Being talked about doesn't always mean a deck is good (See: Tickatus) but in this case there does certainly seem to be merit to it.

Rogue
Feno had been streaming for some 8 to 10 hours when he made the tweet declaring this deck "completely broken" and he did start losing some matches shortly after, but he had been on a run into Top 100 with it, and when the deck worked it seemed like good old Miracle Rogue on steroids. Try it yourself!

Mage
A lot of experimenting has gone into Quest Mage, mostly to determine which subpar Frost spells to run, but OrangeHS came up with a new idea: add Gadgetzan Auctioneer. It lead to great results and some amazing turns and finishes.

Demon Hunter
What would a bursty OTK Meta be without OTK Demon Hunter? The deck was solid already and a popular bring in Competitive Play, but with the new expansion the deck got some new toys. Sometimes small changes can make a world of difference, like adding single target removal does for Firenoodle's deck, which he played as high as Rank 9. But there's also the wildly different Quest OTK deck that Grandmaster Viper built, with many changes.

Paladin
Gle took to twitter to say he was glad Paladin was playable again. He piloted this deck to Rank 20, which seems to me is more than just playable!

Druid
Here's what upcoming America's Grandmaster McBanterFace had to say about this deck: "Guff Druid is the absolute nuts. If quest mage is annoying you, try gaining infinite armor and infinite attack." Well, if you put it like that... And the deck is not just an anti Mage deck. McBanterFace reached as high as Rank 13 with it and a spread win rate against most classes.

Is priest a good deck for beginners?
Just play face hunter lol, hit me platinum
Watch Activision's grand solution to be adding a Kobold Stickyfinger for quests
Having a great time as quest druid. Realase the goofy
It's look they took what already was and just turned it up to 11 with the quests.
The top "Quest Warlock" decks on HSReplay right now are just Zoo decks with the quest thrown in... surprisingly it's quite effective, as you can race through the quest just doing zoo things anyways, then finish them off after quest completion with some Raise Deads and Knife Vendors.
Has standard ever been in a sorrier state than it is now? Nigh on every class just trying to cycle to their OTK by turn 7 max. It's not even Hearthstone anymore. Just when you think it can't get any worse along comes a new expansion and somehow it's even worse. You have to applaud the ineptitude of Blizz it's just mind boggling really. Does anyone play test this shit?
They don’t. Iksar gets payed for nothing it seems. Horrible and sad, why are they ruining the game.
Suggestion to fix quest mage: add "play nature spell" to each step of the quest :D
Easiest solution is that they get quest as per chance per 30 cards not for free for first round, i have seen 5-6 match out of 100 which didn't get quest card on first round but second thats the shittiest thing in that expansion... and where is priest quest for example with turn 10 win with where your chance is like finding and pick out the excalibur from stone. It's madness they don't know what they doing and the worst is they are not able to control it :-(
My suggestion as a first balance patch would be to hall of fame mage and warlock's quest. Seems reasonable for interactivity and fun's sake.
Nuking the Rod out of viability would probably tone down the Warlock one. It’s twice the Thaurissan for half the cost ffs.
I dont care high legend.. where is the high meme decks
Probably something to do with Elwynn Boar, someone get on this!
Am I the only one who thinks, that a lot of kids overreacting?
No… who wants to play every game vs a deck that is completly uninteractive and that you die by turn 6 with stupid spells… idk if you like that but that’s boring af and of course idiotic.
Guys, have you forgotten Robes of Protection exists? Just put x2 in your deck and watch mage cry.
Good old solitaire! Literally play the game by yourself and ignore the board and the opponent! Nice job team!
When you dont learn your lesson with older quests and instead make new broken ones . Sollitairestone
so ur not gonna play til half of the classes are nerfed making your class better than them? lol
The quest druid in here obliterates the mage deck people have been complaining about
