The thing that worries me about this card is that the last stage in the questline takes two overload cards.
No, I'm serious. Hear me out.
It's unintuitive for the last stage of the quest to be easier to complete than the preceding two. It's clear that in the brainstorming phase this questline was 3 overload cards for each stage. So this means that at some point in development, it underperformed in playtesting, and subsequently got buffed to only require 3/3/2. Cards that are buffed in development have a bad habit of winding up too strong, because the playtesters, being primed by the card's weaker version, tend to underestimate its new strength.
For more information on this phenomenon, check out the ur-example: Skullclamp from Magic the Gathering.
the only problem with this is will there be enough spells to cast in your deck after you finish?
Also does the double trigger, cause double overload (I bet it does)
It says play cards with overload, not spells with overload. You can use minions to trigger it. Shaman also has Guidance, Notetaker, Wandmaker, Fireheart, Marshspawn, and Scorpid to generate additional spells.
overload minions right now are almost always awful and not worth the real estate. The rest of the reveals could change that though
Its most value will come from Instructor for sure, in both situations of getting the quest done and also the double cast
Earth Elemental could be playable too now
28 damage combo with rockbiter, stormstrike and doomhammer
Doomhammer's already an overload card, so it slots in perfectly!
Just like with some other questlines, people are focusing too much on the final reward and not so much on the smaller ones. Overall I dont think this card is broken, but just the first reward could be a very strong tempo play if you combine it with Lightning Bloom and another big overload card like Earth Elemental.
I know that Overdraft is a thing but its good to have more unlocking cards. Also you can pay the quests mana cost upfront and keep the Overdrafts for removal or finishing your opponent.
Turno 1: Quest + Coin + Lightning Bloom 2x + Earth Elemental
Turn 2 no overload
priest plays Shadow Word: Death.
and no cards
Fun but broken.
It's not even tier 4

Kibler's had a consistent 70%+ winrate with it for weeks. It might be Tier 4 for you because you're bad at the game.
I've been using it myself, my highest rank ever is like Diamond 7, and I still have like a 60% winrate with it. It dies against harder control decks but destroys aggro and midrange.
Well that's a payoff.
So strong you lose your turn 1 play tho which is crucial in shaman. I think thee rewards outweigh that tho
It's meant for control Shaman which is a real deck. This card is really strong.
Seems cool, but I think it'll be outclassed by non-quest Shaman variants
Tough to say considering there's an easy way to remove weapons now which slots into any deck. The day of WF Shaman is at its end.
