What I'm trying to say is that maybe blizz tries to make different DH, than we all know. Or just make a tempo DH, and no matter how much this Darkweaver buffs your attack it still might be enough to finish the game.
The problem is Fel is too narrow of a tag for it to be consistent but get a potential 8 attack, draw 2, deal 6 to minions, heal 6 on curve 8 isn't too bad.
if you think games go long enough for you to cast 2x fury rank 3 and then play this, you've not played much dh
I'm bad at math, but 2x Fury (rank 3), 2x Chaos Strike, with Felsteel Executioner as Weapon (in previous turn), plus Hero Powe and it's 19 attack...? Plus few other fel magic, that heal you, and deal with opponnents board. It's not that bad, I think. Does any class will have Questline? If DH will have, the question is what will this quest have as a final reward.
This could be good. But I feel like the fel spells at present are not enough to make this excellent. Some of these will just nuke himself and if there is no enemy on board, the targeted ones will still hit him as well.
If DH gets some more utility/buff or heaven forbid direct damage spell, this will be more than great.
Basically a horrible Solarian Prime it doesn't have the same nuking potential that Mage has. Only thing that makes this card good is if Demon Hunter is getting some serious big cost fel spells this expansion.
I’ll wait to see if there will be new fel spells, for now not worthy play this card, but I have good expectations, Solarian saw play when small spell mage was a thing, maybe a new OTK Demon Hunter will be born, or a control/value one
No slower decks will exist in the next meta. All games will be ending turn 7/8
turn 7 or 8 is slow
Yep. You are like most Hearthstone players who prefer aggro vs aggro matches that are decided on turn 3 (who has better start wins) or if both aggro decks had equal start they run out of cards on turn 5 and the game is decided by who gets the better topdeck.
They don't like games that are longer than 5 minutes because when you have more than 5 mana and more than 3 cards in hand the game becomes too complicated.
It's like a better and cheaper Solarian Prime - you have control over the spells and can have more than 5 being cast. I am pretty sure the ranked spells will be cast at their loest rank; that is what Solarian does. This will only get better and better with time.
That might be true if we had better Fel spells in the pool right now, but most of them are very underwhelming, there's not really enough there to make Jace Darkweaver anywhere near as strong as Solarian Prime. At best you'd put this into a Control Demon Hunter (if that's a thing), to recast your Chaos Novas, Eye Beams, or Immolation Auras

Damn, the artwork is cool and golden will probably rock too.
This doesn't seem that good, going by how many Fel spells are played now. Some are antisynergistic with this.
I don't know about that. If you just run all the Fel cards, you can definitely use it as a finisher. Save Jace for turn 10+, play Fury + Fury + Jace. If you've already played both Chaos Strikes and your AoE, you'll reliably clear their board and be free to swing for 20 with your hero. And that's without considering other synergies that might be included in this set.
Don't know that it'd be better than the current Inquisitor finishers or Il'gynoth OTKs, but worth testing. Hell, maybe you run both in OTK. If you hit either Jace or Il'gynoth with your Skull of Gul'dan, you can play both on the same turn for 9 mana, stack all those Furies and Chaos Strikes on your Aldrachi Warblades. And maybe get a couple free Eyebeams on top of it.
Are you sure it will recast ranked spells at the rank you played them? I'm not certain at all, but I suspect it may just cast ranked spells at their 1st rank. Tess Greymane casting ranked spell would be a point of reference I can think of here.
The card physically changes as it ranks up, so yes it replays it at max rank.
Astromancer Solarian always casts spells at rank 1, it's extremely unlikely that this would work differently.
Exactly, that's where my suspicions come from although Astromancer Solarian plays random spells, which are spells you can put in your deck, collectable spells and they are always rank 1. You can put only rank 1 spells in your deck, but "replaying" your spells doesn't have to be restricted in such way, that's why I mentioned Tess Greymane, because it's the only card that replays spells I could think of.
