This is almost a dud but it can go face, which might push it into playability. Would you actually use it for that is another matter. 4 Mana is an awkward mana cost to do very little for a lot but it is very anti-aggro and I like it for that. Hence, I have mixed feelings about this one.
Interesting card will probably see a fair bit of play at launch until players find the deck to place it into.
Huh. Like Flanking Strike except it summons two 1/3 taunts. Seems pretty decent to me.
this is a very strong defensive spell, will see play in any non-zoo warlock decks, it also noteworthy that warlock has no good on curve play at 4 at the moment
Community grows stupid lol, this card gets called op but kodo mount might be too weak. Rofl
Honestly, at this cost it's neither a good defensive nor offensive card. I would rather remove the damage and make it summon 4 Voidwalker. That would make Illidari Inquisitor cry :).
Another idea would be to make it target minion only, but for 3 mana.
Just compare it to the Saronite Chain Gang. Finally i have good security team to defend me, while i'm planning the world doom.
More defence against aggro. Not really that interesting.
better implosion
2 mana deal 3; can go face. midrange card
This is a very reliable removal spell for Warlock, and this card will see extensive use in Warlock. The people thinking that this card is bad don't remember how extensively Imp-plosion was used at the 4 mana slot for Warlock
But that was 100 years ago, when aggro decks were much slower and had much lower damage output. Now this card is just too slow for control. If anything, it might see play in Zoo (if Zoo will be a deck at all, because it doesn't look good so far).
Let's say your opponent played some 3/4 last turn. You can use this to answer, but the minion will stay alive at 1 health and it will most likely trade next turn, killing one of your Voidwalkers. I don't think it's even worth the space in your deck honestly, especially when there's Hysteria and Cascading Disaster or even Hellfire.
I thought this card was bad, but then I realized, this card has a similar bundle value to 5 mana giggling inventor.
This card is actually really, really fucking good.
Taunt Warlock meta
It's good because you can burn face. A 3 damage face burn spell is 2 mana, and two voidwalkers at 1 mana each. The cost checks out.
Two voidwalkers is a very sturdy defensive board.
The card value here is just nuts. You're getting 3 cards for 1 basically. The mana value is fair, but even so, in theory Voidwalker and Darkbomb are both great cards.
The damage can go face for some reason too. Which isn't super relevant with how this card is designed, but adds to the card's versatility.
I think if this were Shadow it'd be a staple in slow Warlock decks. As it is, I think it's mostly an anti-aggro tech card. But it is extremely effective against decks like face hunter or really any DH deck.
another filler card only used in RNG-discover effects
and never in main deck.
fiiler.
How is trampeling dealing 8? Even if it’s buffed by wrangler (not always the case) it’s only doing 4. If not buffed, only 2.
As for the surviving, flanking shot more often than not clipped stuff down. You’re looking at a card with massive defense baked into it here.
It may not make control lock’s final cut, but this is definitely a strong card.
Trueaim crescent, turn four wrangler, turn five rhino deals 8 damage, wrangler lived through demonic assault and deals another 3. I just don’t think this is good enough at four cost. It does two things ok instead of one thing good. That’s just one example, plenty of other options from other classes to not only deal with this, but make it a liability.
Why Fel and not shadow???
