I cant understand why the hell people thought this was a good card.
Alot of fan will be , i like it :D
Maybe lame question, but 4 mana card, discarded to 3 mana will count as 3 or 4 mana card?
These cards are getting very stupid this is not interesting to play nor does it seem fun to play against. I’m a priest main saying this.
I can understand the anxiety people have with this card, but it is slowness on steroids. At least in Wild, games are going to be finished long before this can come into play.
Honestly the Card that Priest deserve, at least give Anduin a Win Condition, since Warlock, Pala and Warrior all have at least one.
That being said, with a rise in popularity for Priest this won't exactly make ladder any faster
haHAA fun and interactive
I think for less skilled players this quest will be a trap. It already takes a long time, so you have to commit to completing it asap, which means it encourages you to play cards not because of their effect but because of their cost, even if it's an awkward play. Which means playing at a disadvantage, unless everything aligns and you keep having the perfect card for the current board with the perfect cost.
Plus, there are many counters, like most of the time you won't be able to play Xyrella the turn you get it, which gives your opponent a turn to try to Mutanus her. Against aggro you'll often have to chose whether to remove stuff efficiently or keep your quest going, unless you're lucky and get the perfect removal all the time, getting to turn 10 or most likely more is hard. Mage will be a pain in the bass because of the secrets, having to test everything or risk your x mana quest card will bog the quest even more especially since you can't have too many cheap spells in a deck for this quest. Just a few examples. And we'll see in some compilation some freak examples like paladins OMY on turn 1.
I don't know about standard, but wild reno priest might use it as a second win condition becasue of the specific card draw that is amazing in highlander decks which usually look for the core cards.
Reno priest is pretty on curve: alot of 2 and 3 mana spells, at 4 Kazakus (or greater healing potion/xyrella for the ones that are scared of aggro). At 5 mana alot of cards like mass hysteria, polkelt, raza, excavated evil and 6 mana reno. And at 7 Psychic and 8 Shadowreaper Anduin(6, 7, 8 btw tutored by Polkelt).
The only really awkward number is 6 cause you only have Reno Jackson which you might want to keep and not just waste it but all the other are pretty easy to use without making awkward moves AND you are rewarded with specific drawing that might give you Reno, Raza, Polkelt. People might add it just for the additional draw and ignore the Shard, still finishing with Spawn of Shadows.
I don't know how can you say so many wrong things.
Do you know the game?
When playing on curve and discover cards to keep the curve is a disadvantage. Do you need skills to play on curve?
So your game plan is playing whatever card is exactly on curve without looking at the other side of the board, without playing around your opponents game. Just play on curve.
Exodar....
OBLITERATE!
Yeah, now do it with the average person's luck where you topdeck a puny minion and a spell like Focused Will from your G'huun.
Discovering a card that you can only use on turn 5 IF YOU'RE LUCKY, for the cost of 1 card in turn 1, is awful against any form of real aggression.
Even without the game-winning spell at the end the rewards along the way are solid. All the questlines will probably take too long to achieve versus pure aggro. I'm sure that there will be decks created to optimize it. And Priest finally has a win condition.
You do realise that priest doesn't necessary love playing their cards on curve since they often deviate with defensive spells to stay alive, right? Did you notice that this card is possibly better against control decks and not aggro? And did you also know that the discover only happens after they reach the checkpoints? First checkpoint would be at turn 4 in the earliest, that's assuming the curve plays are the appropriate answer for the board state on said turns. As much as I would like to not berate someone and their standings, your aggressiveness is neither meaningful nor logical and it is tiring to see someone act like this every other second of the day in this game
i can see it already , counter spell the 10 mana spell and a salty surrender
curvestone
Lol thanks for your guarantee typical rank nobody player.
Not a bad Questline obviously heavy aggro might be able to burst them down before completing but its a damn sight more reliable than C'thun which for me was a bit of a let down.
