Top 3 Duels Moments of the Week - 9

Top 3 Duels Moments of the Week

Welcome to Top 3 Duels Moments of the Week! Because of how crazy Duels can be with all of its treasures, people experience a lot of crazy once-in-a-lifetime moments. Here, ANYONE can share some of their favorite experiences from their Duels games.

3: A Pile of Wax

Hearthpwn user Opteron opens the game by sending in a Deathstrider on turn 1 to begin the game with an army of Wax Ragers. Let this be a lesson to those who claim 5/1s are pathetic.

2: Mankrik, The Ultimate Gentleman

Deathstrider shines yet again, but this time in a less conventional way. Twisted_Teaspoon manages to give Mankrik a Gentleman's Top Hat. Playing Deathstrider triggers Mankrik's new Deathrattle, but not all at once like one might think. If Mankrik gets more hats, those Deathrattles trigger too. With Battle Totem, this process repeats itself 9 more times! After everything resolves, both minions are wearing at least 25 hats each! The opponent is then assaulted by the classiest orc alive.

1: Iron Defense

Ancient Reflections can abuse many targets, with Armorsmith being just one of them. Supurge lines up a nice income of Armor, but isn't prepared for what happens next. This enemy Warrior decides to try to get rid of this board by playing Overlord Saurfang, which proves to be a grave mistake. He summons 2 Blademaster Samuros, which collectively deal 1 damage to everything three times. But since these effects all occur simultaneously, the 1/1 Armorsmiths are still considered to be damaged and get to dispense their Armor. This nets a pretty unreasonable amount of Armor that could've been avoided by doing almost anything else. But when your opponent so willingly gives you 147 Armor, it'd be rude to turn it down.

Thank you OpteronTwisted_Teaspoon, and Supurge for your submission!
