The road to the 2021 World Championship continues this weekend at the third Masters Tour event! Approximately 400 players were invited to compete for their portion of the $250,000 prize pool. The event runs June 18-20, and will be broadcast on the Hearthstone YouTube channel. This will be the third of six online only events where players can earn a spot into Hearthstone's most prestigious group: the Grandmasters.

The player base will consist of winners from official Masters Tour qualifying events, current Hearthstone Grandmasters, and previous top finishers in Masters Tour events. Below is a breakdown of Masters Tour stop invites.

The 2021 season also marks the introduction of the Masters Tour Points system. Throughout the season's events, players will be awarded points based on their finishes. These point totals will determine which participants will replace the relegated Grandmasters in Season 2. The events used to calculate these points will be Masters Tour Asia-Pacific, Montreal, Madrid, Ironforge, Ogrimmar, and Dalaran. You can follow along throughout the season here.

Drops Are Back!

Viewers can earn up to two Year of the Phoenix cards packs for watching. After watching 2 hours you'll receive your first pack -- watch an additional 2 hours for the second. Tournament Format

Each match will be played with a 4-deck, best-of-five Conquest Format with a ban.

• Day 1: Five rounds of Swiss pairings.
• Day 2: Four additional rounds of Swiss pairings. At the conclusion of Swiss, the top-16 will play the first round of a single elimination playoff.
• Day 3: The top-8 players head to Day 3 and complete the single elimination playoff to crown a champion.
