Battlegrounds – Lich King Temporary Disabled
Blizzard just announced that they're disabling Lich King from appearing in the hero selection process. Read all about it below.
Quote from BlizzardWe’re in the process of temporarily disabling The Lich King in Battlegrounds due to an unforeseen issue. We’re expecting to get the issue fixed and have The Lich King reenabled in our next major patch. Thanks for your understanding.
Budget cuts, The Lich King had to go

*gets disabled*
Well done, we are all very proud of you
Gave reborn to a Selfless Hero and it kept its reborn throughout the game. Even when I upgraded it to gold.
That was broken and fun, since I could target other minions with hero power. Thus giving them reborn. Although, sadly, reborn only lasted 1 turn for those. 😊
Obviously, this is something they are about to fix.
When is the Lich King coming as a Death Knight class or Lich King as a Warrior or Paladin skin?
With the threat emote being:
"FACE NOW YOUR TRAGIC END!"
This would explain why my Gold Tough Tusk never lost his Divine Shield. I had placed a blood shard on him before tripling and the buff stayed permanent.
Interesting bug that I wonder how else it can be used.
Golden Tough Tusk permanently gains divine shield after a blood gem is played on him. It's on the card text
How the hell did they INTRODUCE this by changing nothing??
spaghetti code
no more lich king, welp now scourge will be unleashed
But ... there must ALWAYS be a Lich King.
No King Rules Forever.

Wonder what gamebreaking exploit this was that they are not telling us about...
Imagine if it's like use this you win lol.
But legit is this a patch or a bug fix?

Aha, interesting.
For those not interested in clicking through, apparently LK keeps his Reborn Hero Power effect on a minion permanently if the minion is then also trippled that same turn.
Not quite totally game breaking, but still quite unfair to play against. Good they disabled it.
It was: Hero power a card, then golden it = it keeps the reborn forever...
