The meta will of course change as a result of the mini set but most of the cards revealed so far won’t see much play
i have to asume that the other cards will be revealed tomorrow
Prepare your Gonk, the Raptor Schedule
I don't understand
Fangbound Druid can make Gonk more viable, as it is a low-cost minion that you can play in the early game and its deathrattle lowers the cost of Gonk. It makes it more consistent.
Fangbound Druid is interesting to me. One flaw with the old Guardian Animals decks was when you drew your beasts rather than pulled them out with the spell. FBD knocks the cost off beasts-in-hand, so it gets easier to play those you draw. Seems like a somewhat reasonable fit. Not sure it'd be enough to bring back the archetype, but it's interesting to me.
Fangbound Druid is also really good with Razormane Battleguard as well as Winged Guardian in wild.
The problem is that if I had to choose between this and just ramping, I'd rather just ramp. This requires a beast to be in hand, and ONLY gets that one beast down sooner, so yeah I'd much rather just ramp into other plays.
Now, if this ALSO had a beast tag, that'd be a different story, because then pulling this with guardian animals could in turn discount other beasts you'd drawn before guardian animals, and would also be able to discount the other copy of itself. But as it stands it might see some play in taunt druid, simply because it's a relatively cheap, aggressively statted taunt minion, otherwise I don't see it making its way into any decks, druid's ramp is just much better on average.
Could be, could be, @S0lus . I see it almost as a 3rd early game play. Ramp if you can, Overgrowth, Wild Growth, but then what if you don't draw them? Maybe this helps bridge to the later game, since it's a semi-ramp that also gains life (sorta).
You're right that it'd be wicked potent if this was also a beast.
Again, I don't know if this really makes it. But it's kind of interesting to me, that's it.
Lady Anaconda is for an archetype that has no support.
Deviant Dreadfang is the same, and the fact that is costs 8 makes its usefulness questionable
Fangbound druid is another archetype (beast) that's not really supported.
Savory Deviate Delight might be the best tech card in the game.
Celestial Alignment for Lady Anaconda and Deviant Dreadfang. Will it work? Who knows. But it does has support.
Have you already seen the rat of the mini set to decide it has no support?
Is it no support for Lady Anacondra and Deviate Dreadfang, or is it no payoff? There's a lot of good Nature spells, and several free ones like Ironbark, so there's potential. But I'm not sure where the "win" is.
Well you cant choose the cards because that would be busted. You need a bit of RNG to keep the cards somewhat balanced
Thats not a big deal, besides forums are here for discussion, sharing information and questions. No shame!
(ops, I was expecting this answer to end up in the sub thread not here)
How can the collective internet hold blizzard hostage to force more reveals for today? This 2 new diet is some BS. We hongry!
