That Murloc will be played in every single deck until rotated out.
Just like Silas, Vargoth, the guy we just got that is so unplayed I don't even remember its name?
No. Just this one Murloc card.
Maybe in some control decks hitting this with like a raise dead late game could be decent, probably some other combos with it too.
Hope there's a card that cancel discover mechanics. Do something: Your opponent can't discover cards next turn.
Rare card, even if weak still useful against this toxic mechanic.
I don't think Discover is a toxic mechanic. Lets not forget it was accepted and transitioned into a staple mechanic after the game was being criticized for too many RNG mechanic. If anything its how they balance these discover cards, many have way too much value.
@ScrubQuotesX
Toxic indeed is the balance of the value and mana cost of these cards. Way before all that some cards costed 4 mana to discover a single card like that spider that discovered a beast 3/3 and that's it. Now? 1 mana, heal, discover shit /1 mana discover 3 shit /0 mana discover /1mana discover 3 stuff/1 mana discover 2spells overload keep it/ etc etc etc...
Full bullshit now.
I respectfully disagree. What is going to determine what makes that a good card is the support it gets with the rest of the mini-set.
If the rest of the shaman cards in the set were just random murlocs (which wouldn't surprise me) then that will not be a good card.
Shaman need some serious help to raise it out of trash tier and that card alone won't do it.
As for the draw weakness statement, check out FortyDusts post on it.I think he is correct.
EDIT - Forget about it.
wow! some little children or manchild really dislikes me xD
The best thing about these Dungeoneers is the anti-synergy with C'Thun. I'll be happy if we see less of that guy.
Mutanus the Devourer
Nice to see more reason to use Scargil in wild, and fun with Shudderwock too. And it may be fun with double battlecry effects and copy to, deepening on what opponent you face.
I wonder why they gave mage another draw tool... dont they have enough?
still slower than rogue though and they cant have that
Scavenger's Ingenuity and Barak Kodobane are bad cards?
Yes, actually they are very bad cards in a vacuum.
They are good because they are all Hunter has.
Heartstone is a card game where we are supposed to build a deck. Even at worst, the cards in the deck are one of the better options, unless one intentionally puts bad card in it; I hope the fun is well worth the swap. Plus, the argument of "in a vacuum" for a game that needs ability to both read the opponent and plan the following moves doesn't really fit well together. It's like arguing that all tech cards are good because they can destroy a deck built based on those cards.
Let's not forget that Scavenger's Ingenuity and Barak Kodobane are conditional draw You're right, technically right. Since conditional draws are one of the best draws eg. Town Crier
