Balance Changes Coming Next Week - 5 Nerfs, 10 Buffs!
Alec Dawson, who is a lead designer on the final design team, has shared some information about the upcoming balance changes coming next week.

Had some great balance talks over the last few days. 5 nerfs, 10 buffs in next week’s patch. Looking to bring up some underperforming classes/archetypes, there’s some spicy stuff.

Alec also had an interview with the Chinese community where he pointed out, that 2 neutral cards will be nerfed (one of them being a Murloc - guess who could that be) as well as the fact that Barrens Blacksmith, which will be removed from Battlegrounds.

Honestly if we go just off of wishes, I really wish they'd increase Tickatus a mana or two up so he's not so damned easy to corrupt on throw out on turn 7 (followed by a SECOND on turn 8). He's literally become a "destroy 15 of your opponent's cards" getup unless you can somehow deny them the Felosophy cast.
And god help you if your opponent managed to get both Felosophy cards in their hand...
I am hoping for tickatus, but only because I crafted him right after last nerf, and that deck suuuuucks. Just want my dust back lmao.

Crabrider changed to 3 Health
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder changed to deal or restore 6 health
Incanter's Flow changed to 3 mana
Conviction(Rank 1) changed to 2 mana or changed to +2/3/4 attack
BUFFS
Firemancer Flurgl changed to deal 2 damage to all enemy minions.
Lushwater Scout changed to 2 attack or changed to 1 mana
Chain Lightning(Rank 1) changed to deal 2/4/6 damage or changed to target both adjacent enemies
Tidal Surge changed to 3 mana
Earth Revenant changed to 3 attack
Lilypad Lurker changed to 4 mana
Reckless Apprentice changed to 3 mana
Aegwynn, the Guardian changed to Spell Damage +3
Fel Summoner changed to 5 mana
Pursuit of Justice changed to 1 mana
Soldier's Caravan changed to 1 mana
Guff Runetotem changed to 2 mana with 2/3 in stats
Plaguemaw the Rotting changed to 3 mana
I don't think Alex is a problem. Instead I think they should nerf Refreshing Spring Water to at least 5 mana or change the text to "Refresh 2 Mana Crystals if a spell is drawn".
I feel like Refreshing Spring Water is only strong because spell mage is so strong right now..... if you make Spell mage less appealing by nerfing Incanter's Flow and buffing the Hero Power package, it'll make Spring Water less troublesome.
Rogue can easily get Cutting Class to 0 mana, and nobody is saying that card should be nerfed.
those arent buffs, those are make those cards op as fuck.
If they do not tackle shaman card draw, all those buffs will be anyway useless
Don't give Paladin buffs! That's the last thing they need
That depends on the kind of buffs. Secret Paladin, Aggro Paladin and Libram Paladin certainly don't need buffs. However, buffs to Dude Paladin surely won't warp the meta and can add more diversity to the class and the game in general, especially when at the same time other Paladin archetypes are nerfed.
nerfing Crabrider to 1/3 is boring. maybe he will have battlecry gain windfury for 1 1 turn, or just make it 0/4
playing against crab rider, every single game no matter the deck, is the real bore my dude.
well, since caravans arent being buffed, i wonder what 5 of the cards will be, maybe half elementals for shaman and cards from older expansions
I'm glad they're finally nerfing Murloc Tinyfin to 1 mana.... he's too op when combo with Firemancer
