It would be nice if they included those who played in qualifier rounds as well.  It does take some effort to play in those and would also help garner interest in the different tours.

 If they sell this card back for gold or real money, then that's their choice.  Your choice is to play or not play the game.  So what if they sell this card back at a later date.  Does it affect your game as of today?  Are you magically going to win more because of it?  Are you going to get game with newbs for easy wins because you have this card back?  Come on dude.  

Do not be delusional: there are exclusivities that will NEVER be violated, certain card backs or heroes will NEVER be sold for gold...

Obviously, I know that something cosmetic like a hero or a card back has no real influence on the game itself, but the fact that some exclusivities are destroyed while others are not is a serious blow to the game's customers: it shows that there are first class clients and exclusivities and second class clients and exclusivities.

But hey, you are the typical conformist... that the big multinational (sorry, I meant small indie company) do whatever it wants, we only have permission to see, hear and pay... Not a complaint or a single reproach is allowed, at the end of the day, they are perfect, they are never wrong and we have to be very grateful because they allow us to serve them homage and kiss their feet as they do everything for our good.

They piss in your face and you don't mind and smile because you think it's raining.

Really tired of the elitism people think they have for doing almost nothing.  Your prize was you could use that card back a lot longer than someone who bought it.  Plus it was free to you where as someone else has to pay for it.

Well, not only there are card backs that only the elite of the elite can get... there are even card backs (that of my avatar) that are only available to people who are from a single specific country out of the hundreds that exist in the world (you can already imagine what country it is).

Especially considering that the Mark of Hakkar cardback shows that they already have the code to accomplish this kind of thing.

I would actually like that for every cardback that's not longer available. And maybe add something to it like little "blood particles" on the cardback to show that you earned it from fighting:D (and not during that season/promontional event, so that the actual cardback is still "exclusive"); will probably never happen though..

There is such an inflation of cosmetics lately, do you guys really still care about having/not having card back X or hero portrait Y?

Otherwise they wouldn't make all these cosmetics, trust me.

It's a collectible card game. So of course there are quite a lot of people who care about the "collecting aspect" of the game. And Blizzard knows that, or why do you think there so many "time limited buy to have" Skins/Cardbacks?
