This weekend the Grandmasters 2021 Season 1 saw it's second weekend, the second of 8 weeks of action that will decide who is going to get relegated from Grandmasters and who is (eventually) going on to compete for the World Championship.
This week was yet again a week with Conquest being the chosen match form, which means players bring 4 decks, and have to choose 1 deck of their opponent to ban for each series. With the remaining 3 decks they play a best-of-5, where winning with a deck removes it from the play options.

Road to Playoffs
The Grandmasters Season 1 is divided into 7 weeks of weekly tournaments, where everyone scores points for their results that week. After those 7 weeks the Top 8 in the points standing in each Region will play in an 8th and final week of competition to decide who goes to the World Championship. The bottom four in the points standings on the other hand will automatically relegate from Grandmasters. The remaining 4 players who ranked 9th through 12th remain Grandmasters, but do not get to play for a spot in the World Championships this season.

Most of the series this week were done in record time. Highly aggressive meta, for sure.
Blizzard also got in on the action and delivered the packs for watching in record time too. :p
