Balance Changes Coming Next Week - Mage, Paladin, Rogue & Neutral
Alec Dawson, a Lead Designer, just posted a Tweet mentioning balance changes next week as well as what classes will receive them + the final number of changes.
Quote from Alec DawsonBalance changes to go out early next week with 20.0.2. We'll be targeting some cards in Mage, Paladin, Rogue, and Neutral.
Hoping to create more space for experimentation in the early Barrens meta and have a more diverse field of classes.
6 changes in total, details coming soon.

At 6 Mana, the card would be beyond unplayable, but I suppose that's what you're after. At 6 Mana, you cannot possibly ever afford to play it. It'd be a completely dead turn 6, so almost any deck would just outright kill you if you played it.
make it 12 mana, you will need to play both enchanter's flow to play it at 10 mana, just in case it's too broken
Deck of Chaos cries in the corner.
Guess i'll play a bit of Wild until the nerfs are live.
enjoy tax paldin in wild LUL They play sword of the fallen and watchtower
So lets play Arena fot the next week... yey.
Far Watch Post IS an aggro card, that slows down control decks' removal, not the other way around... i'm not a fan of buffing aggro decks by giving them a card that stops the removal of their boards when some of those aggro decks can kill you by turn 4 or 5
Thank god i've managed to reach lgnd with secret pala before this nerfs happaned ^_^
i really cant stand the Rogue Quest. I for sure didnt miss it 1 sec once it was gone.
Does anybody wanna hear 'hey loser, wasn't me" for one more year...pls nerf the damn thing.
Hey Loser!
it wasn't meee
Shame that standard is unplayable for another week.
Deck of lunacy: All cards keep cost they would have otherwise(no change of mana will help this card unless it's a huge change)
Refreshing spring water:Gain 1 mana if a spell is drawn
Penflinger: 2 mana(changing it too much will destroy rogue)
Paladin deserved nerfs since libram pally was introduced. Don't know why it took this long. I think too many cards need nerfing for this class(let's hope this is the 3/6).
I edited your predictions with my own.
I think Deck of Lunacy will give you cards that cost 1 or 2 mana more.
Sword of the Fallen might be untouched and Libram Paladin sees some nerf, or Conviction (Rank 1) will give +2 attack
I don't think they are gonna nerf Far Watch Post because it is not broken. I don't think they want to nerf both of the watch posts at the same time because it will kill the watch post decks and it is a new archetype. Mor'shan Watch Post is a better option to nerf, I guess... I don't think they will nerf Sword of the Fallen Aldor Attendant and Pen Flinger because it will probably kill Paladin. If they nerf Pen Flinger, Rogue will be affected too. Since Rogue does not have a meta-breaker deck, Jandice and Penflinger nerf will destroy the class. I think it is too early to nerf Pen Flinger. I think the main problem of Paladin is early snowball with Sword of the Fallen and other buff cards such as Libram of Wisdom and Hand of the A'dal. 1 mana nerf to the Libram of Wisdom may stop this snowball in Secret Paladin and also it will enable Broom Paladin to live because 1 mana nerf won really affect it.
I would nerf libram of wisdom to -> at the start of your next turn het this card back to your hand.
This way you cant spam pen flinger and buffs during 1 turn
That would buff pen flingers and nerf liadrin
Well that's bad news. I guess some nerfs are needed but Hunter, Shaman and Warrior need a buff or they'll still be unplayable. Blizzard and fellow Hearthstone players nerfing cards won't solve the issue of this meta (if you remember libram pala became a good deck only after the buff )
