Balance Changes Coming Next Week - Mage, Paladin, Rogue & Neutral
Alec Dawson, a Lead Designer, just posted a Tweet mentioning balance changes next week as well as what classes will receive them + the final number of changes.
Quote from Alec DawsonBalance changes to go out early next week with 20.0.2. We'll be targeting some cards in Mage, Paladin, Rogue, and Neutral.
Hoping to create more space for experimentation in the early Barrens meta and have a more diverse field of classes.
6 changes in total, details coming soon.

I see the Paladin card that converts secrets to minions as a cool idea, but it should have been a neutral card that goes the other way. You get minions from their secrets, but if they kill them, they get their secrets back. Might be an interesting mechanic.
That would have been such a cooler design, and immediately impactful in wild, too.
There are so many counters to them though. Why would you say there is no counter to them?
I suggest Blizzard nerf Warlock. Super annoying to play against the corrupt/Tickatus combo. Warlock just removes whatever you play, and then plays their corrupt refresh. Not fun to play against. Also, while they are at it, please nerf the warlock deathkinight. Every warlock deck in wild has that card, which is obnoxiously overpowered. They should replace the hero power.
Discard warlock doesn't run it
and dark-glare as well.
As long as they leave Tickatus alone, we wont see any control Deck until next rotation.
PLEASE Re-Nerf Quest Rogue!!! that deck is very dumb and non interactive. shit is complete by t3
No one cares about wild balance its supposed to be unbalanced and stupid.
Blizzard Connect the Dots Nerf Philosophy Preview:
"We've noticed that the majority of wins with secret paladin occur when people are drinking cola. We've reached out to Coca-Cola and PepsiCo and asked them to raise their prices on all cola beverages by 20%. This should reduce the amount of caffeinated beverage purchases by our Secret Pally players, affecting their alertness and bringing the overall winrate of the deck down. We will continue to monitor problem beverages and work with industry leaders for price hikes as needed."
NOT AT ALL. Shaman nerfed every single time after two weeks max. So STFU, dear mage/paladin player
Everyone is gonna bitch about his class beign nerfed dear shaman player

Oh no, the expansion came out 1 week ago and there are super strong day1-2-3 decks that are dominating: WHAT A TERROR! What? Blizzard will nerf them in 5-6 days from now? But we wanted day1 nerfs...why didn't Blizzard predict every single deck that was gonna come out and nerf-destroy every card that was even slightly possible to make it into a tier-1 deck... /s
Nerfs used to come after months and they didn't seem to listen to community at all, its been 1 week goddamnit and people are still moaning about seeing the same few decks.. in the highest ranks of ladder... in the first week of the expansion.. WHEN NERFS ARE ON THEIR WAY JESUS
I don't know you but you really need to get a sense of this. There is a reason why people are "moaning about the same few decks", its because the game isn't fun at all because of those decks and if they neglect it, lots of people will stop playing. We aren't going to wait months just for something to be done.
I know its not fun, its not optimal and its never been in the early days of they expansion.. thinking what card to do what with-you think thats a thing you do asap in 2-3 days? Im just saying it used to take months for nerfs to come and it rendered cards completely unplayable, 10 days into the expansion is also experimentation period, its not a game where it has patches every 2 weeks so if it fks smth up now they can be like oh well we take it but after another 10 days... i mean day1-2-3 nerfs cmon
Tickatus not being touched and they expect a more diverse meta? I don't understand their logic sometimes...
There honestly isn't a problem with tickatus. The removal warlock has is a problem.
Dude, Tickatus itself cancels a lot of other decks. Sure, it’s bad against agro and fast decks. That’s why it doesn’t seems problematic. But every slow control deck gets CRUSHED by Tickatus. It’s been like this since the last expansion. It’s a big deck design limitation.
I just don't understand why warlock isn't being touched. Control-lock is super unfun and uninteractive. And before anyone says, I don't have a problem with Tickatus, I actually like that card a lot. But control-lock has too much removal and any argument saying "If your deck is losing, then its your deck" is actually braindead. Too much removal, too much healing, and too much draw to render arguments such as "wait for them to not have the removal" or "pay more attention to what they play".
Hysteria in particular is obscenely powerful and needs a cost nerf to 4 or change the text so the minion doesn't attack infinitely. It's grossly imbalanced at its current cost.
