Forged in the Barrens Decks - The Big Deck Preview

As always, these decks are mostly made without play testing, so expect a healthy amount of refining to be needed before we arrive at the decks that shape the Forged in the Barrens Meta.

I like these decks but I dont like that Blizzard dragged out the release for 1 week. Players will play these decks from day one on and will not experiment with fun cards

Well, there's been a shortage of fun cards for the past year or more. Saviors of Uldum is the last time we got an actual handful of "fun" cards, that you knew were probably going to require specific decks and have a low winrate but be really funny to pull off.

Cards like Desert Obelisk and Mogu Cultist but the only card we got this expansion that comes close to that is Celestial Alignment which is actually a card that might be good and not just a meme.

It's one of the most talked about cards in the set, so I'm not sure why Blizz turned away from producing fun meme cards like that. If they were worried about sticking a class with a card that is kinda bad, then just make these meme cards neutrals, all the more chance for more people to experiment with them.

But alas.

I feel like there is nothing fun about celestial alignment, i think it will be oppressive from day 1 to play against.

Hope it will be just a meme, but so far it looks very strong.

I'll go even further, and predict Celestial Druid to dictate the early Meta, similar like pre-nerfed Guardian Druid did...before it got nerfed, which is also bound to happen with Celestial Alignment.

I don’t think you fully realize how strong Skull of Gul’dan is. Soul DH ran it with Fragments since day 1.

Also, Acolyte? Like, what? The card is absolute garbage. If you wanna take the time to criticize someone trying to make his own homebrew decks, at least make sure the arguments hold up.
