Quote from BlizzardTheorycrafting Livestreams
Starting at 9:00 a.m. PST on March 23, Hearthstone creators will showcase the new set and their respective contest-winning decks on their personal streaming channels, using at least 10 Forged in the Barrens cards in each deck they play. This time around we’ll be gifting 100 subs in several participating creator channels during Theorcrafting Livestreams, and each creator will give away 10 Mega Bundle codes throughout the day!
This comment section in a nutshell: "Blizz and Streamer bad". I hope I saved you some time.
Kibler's stream was one of the few well moderated and the communication was very nice, he only enabled sub mode when a giveaway was about to happen so chat isn't flooded with bots and commands so that people can see the link, the rest however were definitely disastrous.
People don’t realise that hearthstone is those streamers’ full time job. They “work” for blizzard, they are the face of the company, they promote their game and they are rewarded accordingly from various sources. Those streamers are not players like the average Joe.
Those theory crafts aim to make people buy decks - “last chance” messages everywhere, social media giveaways you name it. Don’t get fooled by the hype.
These livestreams were a fucking disaster. Little communication, so many bots, subs required to participate - literally the whole event was fucked up. Not to mention that kripp and other BG streamers gave a shit about constructed and had switched to BG at some point.
Can we see the decks they were playing? I liked krippps warrior.
He shared it on his Twitter!
I see only control lock to be honest

This is the deck because I made it. It had battle rage in it so you'll need to replace 2 cards. I think he replaced them with slam but you can do whatever you want tbh the deck has a shit ton of drawl.

blizzard gifting subs to these same group of streamers and making it sound like a gift to the public LMAO
The chance to win a bundle is a joke
Anyone got a mega bundle?
I dont like the theorycrafting streams for different reasons than these given. I dont like it cuz it ruins the first few days of the expansion. Most playeres will already have deck codes from this early event ready on day 1 and wont be exporing on their own. It takes value away from the cards imo. Its like allowing people to watch the new episode of Star Wars, and then tell everyone about it before they even watch it.
Then meta gets solved so quickly these days, early theorycrafting only furthers that along. Making a week long instead of just 1 day is crazy. I buy a preorder looking forward to deck bu9ilding and exploring the set. Why would I want someone else to do that, then copy them? Wheres the fun in that?
Those are my reasons for not liking it.
In total agreement. Though if I was in these streamer's positions I would do it too. Able to play with cards early, promote myself and snag some subs and I'm assuming Blizzard pays them as well. But you're spot on and I don't watch these either, actually consiously avoid them when they pop up on youtube too
I am glad some streamers, like Firebat run only decks submitted by people. Good or bad, he just picked a random one. It was fun to watch that. But I absolutely agree, the most fun part is to solve meta yourselv!
Stopped watching the streamers a long time ago. It's pure BS. They are just here for the money. Like I said. The good decks will show up in a couple of weeks after release. Use this 2 weeks to build your own decks to experience and familiarize yourselves with the new cards...after that you can go full netdecking mode if you want to.
