Quote from BlizzardTheorycrafting Livestreams
Starting at 9:00 a.m. PST on March 23, Hearthstone creators will showcase the new set and their respective contest-winning decks on their personal streaming channels, using at least 10 Forged in the Barrens cards in each deck they play. This time around we’ll be gifting 100 subs in several participating creator channels during Theorcrafting Livestreams, and each creator will give away 10 Mega Bundle codes throughout the day!
It's not the absolute worst though, is it? The viewing numbers, as I understand, get a boost from these. So that alone would suggest it does something. You may think there are better ways but that isn't the same as it being the absolute worst.
I've come to assume that their viewers aren't BG exclusive players. They have far more viewers than other, smaller streamers. I would personally prefer the smaller streamers to get the leg up but I'm not responsible for marketing or revenue generation for a large gaming company. If I were, I imagine I would probably do the same as them. They will also probably want to maintain good faith and relations with people who constantly stream their game and have done for years.
Why don't you go and stream? Or maybe actually support one of the streamers doing this?
Or do you just expect, expect, expect?
You may not like it but its not "bull". Its not even uncommon practice. Tons of giveaways require a sign up of some degree, they aren't done for charity, they are done to generate footfall/clicks. You're incredibly naive of you don't understand this.
I personally find it pretty reasonable that someone would prefer to reward regular viewers, the ones who actually help build their channel and brand over some kids who jump on once a quarter and only do it for the code.
I've never participated in one of these things, I'm not bothered about them in the slightest but I'm mature enough to understand that what they are doing makes sense.
Don't like it? Don't watch. I don't imagine they will care seeing as you don't actually contribute anything towards their viewership or channel anyway.
You just sound like a bunch of scroungers who will claw your Nan's face off for a free digital code.
Then just fucking dont make it a public advertisement event with prices and jackpots!
As someone who watches kibler, you fail to follow basic instructions to enter the giveaway. Kibler explains the giveaway every time he starts it, and unfortunately, you're just showing off how much of an idiot you are. Everyone is allowed to enter, all you had to do was click the link he posted, when he PURPOSELY put the chat in sub only mode, to remove spammers like yourself from clogging up chat.
Avelline giveaway requires that you follow her by 1 week, otherwise you can't message on chat. Others streamers like Kibler and Soneca requires that you are a sub to message.
Clownfiesta
Very poor communication by both streamers and Blizzard - Blizzard gives next to no info and seem to leave it up to streamers to decide how to give these bundles away. Avelline at least had no info in her channel about it and was annoyed by people constantly asking about the giveaway, which, frankly was the only reason most were there.
Wrong. At least for Kiblers' giveaways, you only needed to click a link to enter, for which EVERYONE can enter. The !raffle bot breaks after about 800 entries, and fails to record anymore then that. Kibler uses StreamElements site instead, as it can take 1000+ poor people trying to enter the contest.
LOL! such a scammy bullshit!
!raffle
"only subscribers are able to chat"
*subscribe*
!raffle
"you need to be subbscribed for at least 10 minutes to be able to chat"
*wait 10 minutes*
!raffle
"Only bmkibler's subscribers can chat right now. Subscribe and join in! 20% off!"
*unsubscribe and never ever participating in this greedy bullshit anymore*
Welcome to KiblerLand.
dam thats some bull , and always same streamers..
The smaller streamers are where it's at. You only need to follow them, or not even that, and there's like 500-1000 people in each raffle = better odds.
Gross, but not unexpected from these streamers. When the community was fighting for fairer monetisation, it became very obvious who actually gives a damn, and who is just in it for the money.
Wow, you fail to follow basic instructions.
Here is a timestamp of when he starts the giveaway, and he says this EVERY TIME he has held the giveaway.

All you had to do dumby, was click the link. :(
Yeah I thought that, feels a bit harsh on those who do try and stream constructed all the way through expansions but if I was a business and was trying to drum up as much hype as possible, I'd go for those with the biggest viewership too. There's always a risk that alienating them will see their viewers kick up a stink as well because I'd assume at least a fair amount of their viewers will at least play between constructed and BG.
Just get a job and buy packs yourself instead of wasting time on these BG streamers and get nothing. If Blizzard really wanted to do giveaways they should just give a couple packs to everyone who watched for like an hour or something.
Just get a job instead of wasting time commenting on trying to get something for free.
If you have a job, why would you ever try to get something for free?
Even if blizzard gave it to someone who watched for an hour...
Try again.
Theres more than just kibler or regis... Dexter Firebat Aveline Allie they all play constructed
