A strange card. It steals up to half stats rounded up, but will never kill anything. I dunno how useful this will be....
seems kinda unnecessary, priest has a lot of tall removal options.
I guess if you need a tempo play its ok?
Compared to the last class legendary Harpy type character we received (Duskfallen Aviana, lol) this is playable!
i opened her in a pack... :(
This card's kinda bad. If the enemy has a 10/10 and you play this, You just end up with a 6/6 with summoning sickness and they still have a 5/5.
So? A 6/6 with a battlecry of -4/-4 on the enemy for only 2 mana is pretty damn good.
Even a 3/3 for only 2 mana is fairly good, and you only need to target something that's a 3/3 for that to happen (it turns that 3/3 into a 1/1 too). If you target a 5/5 this becomes a 4/4, and the enemy becomes a 2/2. That's really good for 2 mana.
You ever go into an expansion like “okay, I just know this time around blizz is not going to give priest two reactive leggos. Aaaaaaand...”
Yeah, gotta say I'm losing interest in this expansion at this point. I mean, I guess if you wanted a control win condition you could play C'thun, but like...it's pretty clear that blizz has no interest in printing actual win conditions this set. It'll probably just be a meta full of value decks struggling to keep up with tempo decks that are mostly made up of the cards from last year. So...same as it has been for the last year. This set looks decent, but not good enough to compensate for the three terrible ones that came before it. At least I can save the 100 bucks by not buying in this time. Here's hoping the next set is the Saviors of Uldum to this one's Rise of Shadows. Or that the single player is good, at least.
I agree
Blizzard is trying so hard to fuck up Priest in every years new card circle
They are DEFINITELY trying to push board based strategies and more back and forth this expansion. So less destroying things while playing to your win condition. More playing for board to get ahead.
There weren't any hero cards or quests in Phoenix, so infinite value decks aren't going to be a thing anymore. A lot of early game hard removal is going, so people are going to need to rely more on playing early game minions to contest opponents. Even in hard control decks.
Having just watched the last reveal stream, Priest has like... what 7 board clears that only hit the opponent?
This has the stench of Witchwood, where decks filled with overpowered Kobolds and Catacombs cards continued to be played with basically no card changes.
The crippling of the basic sets is gonna change a lot, but probably not the inclusion of these new cards. Just more cards from the last year.
This card would have been cool at 0/1 considering it is a legendary. It's still useful vs aggro in a lot of situations but I just feel it leaves a lot of stats on board. I'll have to wait and see it. I can't help to think that other legendaries would have been more fitting to priest. Like pulling deathrattles out of your deck like DH legendary or rezzing like the Warrior legendary. Something more proactive.
After i stated that all other classes get priest stuff like healing, rezz and stuff, i got down voted. *shrug*
Damn, a random harpy? Indeed the lore of this exp is so poor lol
They gave the major hostile barrens species each to a class kinda. Harpies for Priest, Quillboars for Druid, Centaur for Hunters, etc.
Harpies for Priest? Where Windfury for priest?
Quillboars are in Demon Hunter too.
This card is interesting. Really not that strong but it works. That said is weird that there is not wincondition on the lego spots this expansion. But this is not the only class that suffers from that this particular expansion (Shaman dont have a wincon, but utility tools and same for rogue, in the legendary spot). In that sense yeah i understand why this feels bad for a lot of people (because Shaman and rogue tools are waay more proactive)
For this card to go from being a garbage to a medium quality card it should cost 0 mana.
