The SI Agents are just example, you can replace them with whatever other abusable 3-mana minion. It does not even need to be two the same minions.
You just need prep, fraud, cutterbutter and 2 minions that can abuse this combo in hand. All of these cards are also pretty good on their own and playing them outside of combo is still reasonable.
It's not something you'll build your deck around. It's more like "hey i already play this, this and have plenty of that. Maybe i can squeeze Cutterbutter here - he's good and sometimes i'll draw it all together for massive play."
Why Blizzard? havent we suffered enough?
Awesome card, going to try it out on Mill Rogue in Wild (Two free Coldlight Oracle).
You know you can shuffle copies of this guy into your deck to.
Then you can play him, cold, him again (for one mana), cold, him, cold, him, cold, him, cold, him, cold.
Before you reach 10 mana, and that is whitout calling him back to your hand or using coins. So I think wild rouge can pull of a few combos now when you duplicate this dude.
Yes. Because rogues have never, ever become insanely powerful with cards being reduced to near 0 mana Blizz... Do we need another lesson with how Galakrond ended up?
this sould never be printed and will be nerfed in no time
If you play two in a row from dk Valeera does it discount the next by 6?
Probably. No guarantees. Same with spirit of the shark. Blizzard spaghetti code and such
Rouge is never ever bad
As someone who has played exclusively rogue since league of explorers, I can definitely attest to there being times where rogue was trash. Quite a few different metas where rogue was trash. Now is definitely not one of those metas, but for sure not “never”.
I don't agree at all, but that is okay
You want proof? 2016, the only playable rogue decks all year were miracle rogue, maly rogue and n'zoth rogue, miracle rogue was back and forth between tier 2 and 3, n'zoth and maly rogue were always tier 3 or 4, sometimes scratching the surface of tier 2. No tier 1 deck the entire year except for a brief period in december and then the following january where miracle was tier 1, then went back to tier 2. Pirate Rogue and jade rogue showed up, both being tier 3-4 decks. Aggro rogue showed up in march and was t1 for a couple weeks, but then down to tier 2 once un goro hit. Quest rogue was good at the beginning of un goro for a couple months, but then it got nerfed and rip, no more tier 1 decks again, Then Druidstone happened and rogue had no good deck for quite a while. In september, when druid was nerfed, tempo rogue was finally good and was tier 1 for the first time because of keleseth (not a rogue card). After february nerfs, dropped back down to tier 3 and no tier 1 deck once again. Didn't even have a tier 2 deck after patches and corridor creeper nerf. Witchwood made odd rogue tier 2 and quest rogue became tier 1 again for a short time... and then nerfed again. So then rogue stuck with tier 2 odd rogue and miracle rogue, briefly scratching tier 1 when zoolock and maly druid were taking over the meta. Quest rogue started to make a comeback weirdly enough even after 2 nerfs, and then the nerf to giggling inventor was the nail in the coffin and the only rogue deck above tier 3 for 4 months were odd rogue and quest rogue, going back and forth between tier 3 and tier 2. After Rise of shadows, tempo rogue was tier 1 for a bit... and then nerfed. Thief rogue was tier 2. When saviors of uldum hit, rogue had no deck above tier 3, though tempo rogue managed to get to mid tier 2. Best deck available until december and then tempo rogue and anubisath rogue were tier 1 for a short while,,, and then nerfed. Then highlander rogue was tier 1 for a short while... and then nerfed. Tempo rogue made it back to tier 1 for a decently long period in the first half of 2020... and then nerfed. Rogue's only deck above tier 3 was tempo rogue for almost the rest of the year and tempo rogue was stuck at tier 2. Then finally we come to the current meta. If you haven't noticed a pattern, rogue got nerfed... a lot. As soon as they got a good deck, pretty much every time. Also, having one boring tier 2 deck for months and months is pretty much trash.
Wow..
Even when Rogue get trash card they still become tier 1-2. Even now, with not that many card printed for rogue, Stealth rogue still doing well in Duel/standard.
Not having a tier 1 deck =/= trash. A class that has two solid tier two decks is in a pretty solid spot as far as things go. Shaman for example had a whole year last year where the best they had was perhaps tier 3, and even that was pushing it.
Classes like DH and Shaman are either god-tier or garbage, but for Rogues/Mages they will be god tier or good. Rogues and Mage have a good core (card-draws, tempo and various utility tool) to even become strategic picks when they get dry card pool for an expansion.
dude even professional HS events winners always have a Rogue deck, everyone knows that even casters say that rogue never goes out of service.
Oh no, they were tier 3 at one point!
That's not trash. Trash is Priest or Shaman not even having a tier FOUR deck at numerous points.
Rogue players have no idea what "bad" means ... They are like a spoiled child who has never been denied anything; a different opinion than his on the most trivial of topics is enough to drive him crazy. Rogue in Tier 2 = Trash times for Rogue
obviously this is clearly a compare that is exclusively related to the "hearthstone" game, nothing directly personal…
Oh good, I hate it
