We have all the perfect cards for a deathrattle DH besides deathrattles.
That's weird...
Another identity steal. DH have drawpower like Druid, silences as Priest, board control as Shaman, lifesteal as Paladin, weapons as Warrior and now deathrattle synergy as Hunter. Only poisoness and ressurection left to add to DH’s arsenal to make it “everything possible class”.
I can't understand what is thi DH with deathrattles :D... If that was in priest I would understand better, but in DH. But of course new archtype is always better.
This card should've been neutral opening a lot of nice decks for every class. That's why after 1 month it's kinda boring playing standard, u have those 2/3 classes with good decks dictating the meta while the other classes are left with poor choices. Just my opinion tho. (anyways it's a really good card)
This is going into my control DH N'Zoth in wild. :-P
This is stupidly broken
What were they thinking about while printing this???
Well, DH is certainly getting a lot of deathrattle support... but so far no deathrattles. Only four more DH cards left.
This is really frustrating. So many other classes need this kind of deathrattle support, but DH gets it out of nowhere. This doesn't feel organic at all.
Blizz pls
Agreed unless there’s more synergy to come.
Well that's one big payoff. But they are hiding the Deathrattle minions on us! I hope it's not until the final dump of cards, I wanna get started building the deck soon.
Oops! All support
I hate demon hunter since the day it came out
I never played him while he was on top, i only played him after well deserved nerfes
So if this DR DH thing doesn't go out of proportion I'll love to play it even tho i still really hate the class couse of lifesteal, silence, ignore taunt, charge monopol, extreme hero atrack/weapon.....
I just don't want to include deathrattle on my list of things I hate about DH !!!
What an interesting, powerful card. As a Hunter player, I'm not even remotely bothered (I know that sounds like I'm being passive aggressive, but I'm being honest) by Demon Hunter getting Deathrattle support. And Deathrattle support THIS GOOD is pretty cool!
What is unfortunate about this card is that it's costed at 7. Most of the strongest board wipes in the game are costed between 7 to 8 mana, which means playing this on curve (at its most powerful) against any control class probably ends in no board presence. However, since you're summoning Deathrattles, that downside is diminished pretty significantly.
Altogether, a powerful tool for an archetype nobody's really sold on yet. We've yet to see anything you're really wanting to cheat out that's actually a Demon Hunter card, and Neutral cards are always set to be slightly weaker than class ones.
We'll definitely see!
7 mana (4 mana, maybe 5 mana of stats) Cheat out 3-15 mana worth of deathrattle minions and thin out your deck.
As someone who's been trying to make midrange and tempo priest work for like... a month, this card frustrates the hell out of me.
It's kind of the perfect priest card.
1) Isn't traditional card draw
2) Thins your deck of things you don't want to draw and have to play
3) Has great deathrattle synergy.
Sigh. C'est la vie, je suppose.
As a card this is great. Love it. I don't get the Hooktusk comparison. This has a better stat layout and can be more reliably built around. Deathrattle minions are just also generally better than pirates.
Thank you. Exactly my thoughts. This IS a priest card. I genuinely don't understand the distribution of quality cards this expansion, especially where new directions and archetypes are concerned. One class would KILL for this, while the one that got it couldn't fit it into their 2-4 meta-adjacent decks. Come on, blizz.
Fel Summoner cries in the corner that it costs one mana too much. Could be a mean chain summon for Big DH otherwise.
They're really trying to push that Deathrattle DH archetype apparently, but right now I'm still not convinced it's good enough. I could see this card beeing played in some meme combo decks to thin your deck while also giving a little tempo.
Why do this card and Vengeful Spirit exist in the same set? They seem to accomplish opposite goals. This seems to be creating a similar problem that Captain Hooktusk had, since you’d often not be left with pirates in deck after drawing them out with raiding party, and this legendary isn’t even a Deathrattle that can be tutored like hooktusk could be.
You can go super greedy with fishy Flyer (murloc) and al'ar (elemental) and some other upcoming cards and nzoth to ressurect them again
Disguised wanderer for a demon. This deck would be so bad :D
