There will definitely be OTK decks built around this card. Idk if boar is leaving wild or not, but it wouldn't be hard to cycle it through an entire deck with Auctioneer and many cheap spells
Boar will rotate to wild, this card buffs minions on board so it could buff auctioneer instead, you are limited to nature spells only if you want the buffs.
True. I was going under the assumption that most of the low cost Druid spells would be nature spells, but I guess there's probably a lot that aren't. Still huge burst potential, but yeah a lot less than I implied. I think with Elise there is already a way to get infinite nature spells via duplication. Likely not viable, but it's fun to think of the possibilities.
Theres a lot of cheap nature spells for druid so you can cheese out something pretty decent with this on curve if you highroll right
to much set up for plus 2/2
Double Lightning Bloom and double Nature Studies and you've already got +8/+8 and 3 extra mana to work with on one single turn.
This seems like a card that could be slotted in a variety of Druid decks, although it's a bit hard to tell so far. However this looks like a good card for a token deck, as Innervate and Lightning Bloom already see play in those decks on top of other cheap spells too.
Free buffs with innervate? Sure why not.
Since it's After you cast a nature spell then cards like Landscaping [/card] will summon the tokens and then one of them will get the +2/+2. Now would [card]Germination (assuming its Nature) summon the second copy and then both trigger or just one trigger?
Don't get me wrong, the effect is very strong, but when I first read the effect I didn't think this was a Legendary card. This seemed more like an Epic card effect, or hell, there have been some Rare cards in the past that gave more than one +2/+2 effects as a battlecry.
I think, since this will be not only the first expansion of the year, meaning it lasts longer, but also the first expansion after a major rotation, they want to go easy on the power level.
This can trigger multiple times, and the only card that gave +2/+2 was Fungalmancer. It was 2 more mana than this, and was one of the strongest cards in hearthstone ever.
The only thing holding this back is that tempo druid has never really been a thing. Token has, but this is less effective in a token deck I think.
Its just me or all these legendaries are kinda ''meh''
That's always the case when a rotation happens. The power level Just has to be defined for coming year
And this rotation is bigger than usual, not only about expansions, but also the Classic set.
Just you buddy.
bg card, rly +2/+2? legendary?
let me guess, every mana cheat card is nature right?
Lightning Bloom sounds pretty natury to me, and I'd be willing to bet Innervate is going to be classified that as well. This card might turn out to be fairly busted.
Innervate being one is confirmed afaik, but I could be wrong?
