Poisons traditionally deal Nature damage in Warcraft. Probably won't matter much.
I'm not so sure that it won't matter. I could easily see Rogue getting a minion that interacts with Nature spells. Call it "Merchant of Death," give it "Battlecry: Discover a Nature spell." For Rogues, it's pretty much guaranteed to hit some sort of weapon buff, which could be interesting.
This card will not see play in aggro Kingsbane. The only thing it might do is make other variants of Kingsbane go from tier 5 to tier 4.

NOW WE ARE TALKING. I love crazy ideas and crazy cards! This expansion has been very disappointing this far.
Garbage expension
Still a bit less annoying than pre-nerf Leeching Posion, but man...
Look at the bright side: this card reinforces Control Rogue as an archetype in Wild as well.
Yaaay...?
I would have said this sort of effect would have been more suited to the Warrior given that their hero power is based around mitigating damage but hey what the hell do I know! Either way this will probably see some play in a control based rogue.
Why?
Since Weapon Rogue doesn't care about taking damage/trading minions with their weapon, this probably won't be played over Deadly Poison. Maybe we'll get a more controllish Rogue tho? Who knows?
Applying poison to a 1 handed mace. Sure. You can, but most Rogues would use a dagger, since you know, stabby stabby. Mace just squashes. How is that supposed to apply a poison?
Muh immersion Blizz. :P
Rogues in wow used to use maces a lot, especially in pvp with the infamous stunlock rogue.
So yes, immersion indeed.
Well a poison needs to be ingested to be harmful so i assume a mace to the face would get more poison into the mouth than a dagger?
I know, I was only joking. It never made much sense in WoW either though. There's a reason they removed poisons from Combat/Outlaw at some point (though they are back again now).
Face is the Place. This explains so much.
Face is indeed the place.
But it might also be because the pvp maces were actually spiked, making it rather easy to pump that poison into someones body with a good smack.
Blizzard, please don't do this...

you were close!
Did they not learn from leeching poison? Guess I’ll be putting kingsbane in my mill deck again
